    Favourite Church Father?

John Wesley, because he fought Calvinism and brought holiness back to Christ's Church. He is also depicted in Scripture and so is John Calvin. Revelation 3: “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know...

Tree of Life: A Soup Nazi Commentary on Revelation 22:14 KJV

James is not addressing Christians. Verse 12 is easily missed if you don't know that Christians are under the law of liberty, not the Ten Commandments that are for sinners. Born again Christians have been given the moral laws that are sins unto death written on our hearts and the desire to...

Why its important to keep the Sabbath

Romans 7:5-6 5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death. 6 But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in...

Tree of Life: A Soup Nazi Commentary on Revelation 22:14 KJV

The Ten Commandments will always be here as it is for sinners, not born again children of God. Christians don't need them because the law is written on our heart and we keep them through our conscience to be kept by the power of the Spirit given to us. Romans 7:5-6.

Did Moses prescribe stoning for the adulterer and adulteress?

You're wrong. An adulterer and adulteress are each already married to other people. Neither were assumed to be virgins. So the answer is YES, they are both killed.

    Paul, says everything is yours.

1 Cor. 3: 18 Take care that no one deceives himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in the sight of God. For it is written: “He is the one who catches the wise by their...

    What is Christian Blasphemy?

I agree with everything you said, and I wanted to focus on this one. It wasn't until John Calvin created the false doctrine against the Spirit callsed Cessationism that his followers quenched the Spirit. Jesus even said in Revelation 3:1 that they have a "name that they are alive (attracting...

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

So what are you saying in regard to Muslims seeing Jesus?

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Unless God is speaking to them directly. Jesus is coming to many Muslims and showing Himself to them, not just hearing Him, but seeing Him.

Is it important to keep the Sabbath?

Did you not read that I included Sunday worship, not just Saturday? I do not judge people who believe in the letter of the law, as long as they honor the Spirit of the law more - abiding in Jesus. In fact, I attend with them at a SDA church, and again the following day at a Calvary Chapel, but a...

I know how she feels. I eat them right out of the can. Haven't had them for years.

There is no spiritual gift called "the gift of tongues".

Of course! I'm so happy to see such a mature Christian. Not many people will admit an error. :)

There is no spiritual gift called "the gift of tongues".

Are you still addressing me? That is bearing false witness, brother. You need to apologize.

There is no spiritual gift called "the gift of tongues".

I think you are confusing me with someone else. I'm all FOR speaking in tongues, but I do know that praying in tongues and speaking a message in tongues are both speaking in tongues, but one doesn't need interpreting and the other always requires interpretation. They are also spoken about in two...

There is no spiritual gift called "the gift of tongues".

Praying in the Spirit or praying softly in understood language at your seat in church is different from standing up and giving a message in tongues heard by all that an interpretation is required and expected.

I made it understood by either! LOL

There is no spiritual gift called "the gift of tongues".

Your list is doubling up. There are two manifestations of tongues. Mark 16:16-18 is your 1), 2), 4), and 5). Number 3) is from 1 Corinthians 12:8-10. The difference is only in the direction. Mark 16 has no "interpretation" listed. None is necessary because the tongue is speaking TO God. But 1...

There is no spiritual gift called "the gift of tongues".

Don't you remember when the disciples asked Jesus to show us the Father? John 14 7 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” 8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” 9 Jesus said to him...
