I am puzzled - when did I personally correct or cause anyone to doubt the Living Word of God. Is it normal to slander folks on this forum ? I think it good to discuss topics but to incessantly falsely accuse members is not a good look and not honouring the Lord or the member.

However looking at Acts, the Word of God was referred to as the verbal witness of the evangelists - not a written text. So there is a clear mandate to share the Gospel without Scripture. (not that I recommend it, because when you have it, it is good to use it)

So all the missionary endeavours that don't translate exclusively from KJV will come to naught? How come the Glorious Throng will be from every Tribe Nation and Tongue ???

Great - we got there... I think the KJV is great but I don't think it has some divine exclusivity. Does that mean more english speakers will go to heaven ?

No it is not always a 'work of the devil' If folks down through the ages had not pointed out errors, what we have would not be anywhere as accurate. His Spirit can make us aware of errors in translation. Careful not to attribute to Satan what is God's Spirit.

No translation is perfect - nor are humans perfect - that is why we need Him to reveal Truth as we read. He is not fooled by errors in translation or corruption of text - so we are safe as we read as long as we are in healthy fellowship with, and are hearing Him. Threatening folks who might...
