    Jesus dying on the cross

It is problematic because your presumption that darkness emanates from God is not the foundation of either Jesus or the apostles. 1 John 1:5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.

    Jesus dying on the cross

The darkness referenced above is ignorance and rebellion. I notice you oscillate between the darkness of night and the darkness of ignorance/ rebellion. I think conflating the two is problematic.

    Jesus dying on the cross

    What makes a doctrine false?

There are many. The underlying principle is that OT scriptures are used to underpin a view of God which Jesus does not support. In fact, Jesus contradicts. This is denied because it is also thought that the scriptures used do not contradict Jesus.....and out of that confusion and muddling a...

    What Does it Mean…..?

You have plenty of personal opinions if I go by your lengthy posts but how many of them = truth? Scripture referenced does not necessarily equate to truth. We can see that in the temptations Jesus endured in his 40 days in the desert. I guess you are familiar with the story of 'The Emperors New...
