Tongues ( 'sign' gifts ) did/did not cease?

@MatthewG You quoted: 6 When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. 7 Utterly amazed, they asked: “Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans? 8 Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language...

Tongues ( 'sign' gifts ) did/did not cease?

God is Supernatural. That is why natural man cannot understand Him. ALL the gifts of the Spirit are SUPERNATURAL, including tongues and interpretation of tongues. I thought everybody knew that much. You just can't understand if you think it is a learned language.

Tongues ( 'sign' gifts ) did/did not cease?

That first word to me let me know God existed. Then I immediately saw a vision of my sin. And I repented. Then He spoke 8 sentences to me that seared right through me. Then I repented again. And finally it happened. Jesus took away the sin in my nature completely (it felt like a heavy weight...

Tongues ( 'sign' gifts ) did/did not cease?

I didn't even know if God existed for sure for the first 30 years of my life because He never answered one prayer. Until He spoke to me. And I know exactly what you mean by a LOUD and quiet voice. I asked Him a question I was stumped on, and He said "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Tongues ( 'sign' gifts ) did/did not cease?

So you speak in tongues and can tell the difference between the real gibberish and the fake gibberish?

    Can a Christian Be Possessed?

It would be great if all who say they are Christians were actually born again of the Spirit, but some denominations don't even mention the Holy Spirit, and some even call repentance a "work" so won't confess their sins in order to receive the Holy Spirit in the first place. I see that...

Why are there four Gospel accounts in the New Testament?

Yes, Mark was written first before Matthew.

Tongues ( 'sign' gifts ) did/did not cease?

I'm on a diet so no sugar. But I love salt, so my breakfast will have to be from the laundry!

There is no spiritual gift called "the gift of tongues".

In Mark 16:16-18 is the SIGN of tongues for us to use individually TO God for prayer or praise. No interpretation listed In 1 Corinthians 12 we have the GIFT of diverse kinds of tongues. That's the full name shortened to gift of tongues. WITH the gift of interpretation of tongues.

Tongues ( 'sign' gifts ) did/did not cease?

You eat socks??? Are they clean socks? Or from the laundry?

Tongues ( 'sign' gifts ) did/did not cease?

Think again. It clearly says they will cease when we SEE HIM FACE TO FACE. That is the 2nd Coming. Besides seeing God through a dark glass his how we see God now through the incomplete picture of His majesty in the writings. Also take a course in covenants 101. NOTHING ceases inside of a...

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

Sorry Ronald, Barney started a conversation and that's where we've been. Is there any particular thing you want me to explain, rather than everything I believe.

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

I know the answer and live it.

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

LOL I've got GE on ignore, but it is fun to read the responses to his posts. But I still won't read what he said.

We’re the two witnesses from the past?

I agree. The reason why God chose Moses and Elijah at the Transfiguration was because they represented the law and the prophets. The God spoke from heaven to the apostles and said, "Hear Him." And Moses and Elijah disappeared. That era was done. But I do believe they were there to be the two...

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

Well, I'm holding my breath and turning blue! Hurry up! Seeing as this is from you and not someone else's writing, use my scriptures and what I wrote and just answer them. Give me the first half or fourth and let me start.

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

Was wondering if you are going to directly answer the Scriptures I used, or are you going to cut and paste so you don't have to type something, but its in general and totally unrelated to each point, and I'll have to do the dissecting. Don't worry about it, I have more time than you do and can...

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

When we rest in the finished work of Jesus at the cross, what does that mean to us? How does that change us, or does it? How do we rest? Go to sleep?

Is the Sabbath a 'test of loyalty'?

I'm not a child, so be honest. Just, no sarcasm. Tell what you believe and why scripturally.
