Why Did Our Father Want Blood Sacrifices?

Hi Bling, I am sorry, I didn’t notice your post here. These are some very good questions and I will attempt to answer them for you. You are correct, God does not owe Satan anything, however, the question must be asked, why didn't God just destroy Satan and take mankind back? God has the power...

Why Did Our Father Want Blood Sacrifices?

It isn't that had to Pay Satan a ransom, the idea is that he did so to show He is just. God had has the ability and could easily have taken mankind form Satan. However, since Adam and Eve willingly submitted to the sin the idea is that they willingly fell into Satan's control. There ore God...

Why do you think faith alone saves us?

Well. if you can live with the contradiction that is created between your interpretation and the Scripture, enjoy. Remember Paul also said, Romans 2:5-10 ( KJV ) But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the...

Why Did Our Father Want Blood Sacrifices?

Yeah, they were in the blog post, however, here are some. Matthew 20:28 ( KJV ) Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. 1 Timothy 2:5-6 ( KJV ) For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ...

Why do you think faith alone saves us?

Well, I just showed you that Paul is speaking of the works of the Mosaic Law. After he says not of works, he explains how Christ broke down the middle wall of partition and abolished the law of commandments contained in ordinances. That is the context of the passage. Paul also differentiates...

    Serious Question...if Christians Are Saved...

The reason is because, no one is ultimately saved until the resurrection. There are three stages to salvation. The Scriptures speak of being saved in the past, present, and future tenses. When we say someone is saved we are referring to their "initial" (past tense) salvation. This is the point...

Why do you think faith alone saves us?

I am not talking about earning merit with God. I was referring to the OP. We are not saved by faith alone.

Why do you think faith alone saves us?

That's true, however upon reading further we see what Paul means here by works. Ephesians 2:8-16 ( KJV ) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus...

Why do you think faith alone saves us?

Sorry, I hadn't seen this post. Romans 2:5-10 ( KJV ) But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient...

How Are We To Love Our Enemies?

That was wonderful, to see one who wholly trusts in God and has learned not to gloat is a sign of maturity. Thank you for posting this.

How Are We To Love Our Enemies?

I think you are missing the point. They were enemies when Christ died for them, so He died for His enemies. If some become friends that does not negate the fact that He died for His enemies. He died for all mankind and not all of mankind are His friends so by necessity He must have also died for...

Why Is It That People Don't Believe The Bible.

Are you referring to unbelievers or Christians?

How Are We To Love Our Enemies?

Well, it seems to me that He died for His enemies as well as His friends. John 3:16 ( KJV ) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Romans 5:10 ( KJV ) For if, when we were enemies, we...

How Are We To Love Our Enemies?

Are we not to mimic our teacher? Didn't He love them enough to die for them?

How Are We To Love Our Enemies?

How exactly are we to love them then? Aren't we to do good to them?

    Election The Chosing Of God

I have figured it out, I was asking you. The passage you quoted does not address the issue.

    Election The Chosing Of God

Well, there are few points there that don't seem to fit scripture but that is not what i am talking about. Paul said that death came through Adam, because of sin, then he said the wages of sin is death (physical). If Christ paid the "sin debt" owed to God why do Christians still physically die?

    Election The Chosing Of God

I did! Christians die like everyone else. Everyone sins and everyone dies. Why is that if Christ paid the sin debt to God?
