Poll: Tattoo artist: if a Christian daughter/son of yours worked as one, would you be supportive?

@RLT63 There might be a generational aspect also; I saw this quote from the Bible Belt: forums dot thewelltrainedmind dot com You see what I mean about it possibly being generational?

Poll: Tattoo artist: if a Christian daughter/son of yours worked as one, would you be supportive?

Actually I wasn't referring to the 4 Gospels, specifically; I was referring to the body of doctrine called the gospel as opposed to how the Reformed constituency seems constantly to be making an appeal to the law.

What is the rule of faith for Christians?

@Ronald Nolette The Reformed constituency folk tend to say that the law is the rule of the believer's life. Whereas dispensationalists tend to think it's the Gospel that is the rule.

The founding fathers of modern-day Premillennialism were heretics.

@Ronald Nolette I agree with this understanding; and in 1 Cor. 11.26 the rapture is clearly linked with the church as opposed to some other entity.

Poll: Tattoo artist: if a Christian daughter/son of yours worked as one, would you be supportive?

@Ronald Nolette Thanks for the 'like' just now. As with the young ppl that I mentioned having talked with, on the specific aspect of whether certain ppl might regard the tattoo artist profession in a generally positive light or not, my guess would be that at a congregation as described by FHII...

What benefit does it produce to make Jesus God

@RLT63 Those terms can be generally interchangeable; Reformed theology can also carry the connotation of being systematic and following certain patterns of logic. (My own 2c is that one should in which case take care that the system of logic being superimposed is actually directly Scriptural.)...

What are your thoughts about the Stars in the Sky, and the Planets that exist inthe CreatedUniverse?

@Pearl............ Good...... :) The version I remember is: "Lighten our darkness....."

The founding fathers of modern-day Premillennialism were heretics.

Aren't they tribulation saints in Luke 21 (and Matthew 24)?

The founding fathers of modern-day Premillennialism were heretics.

1 Corinthians 11.26 seems to link the church specifically with the Rapture, implying that other Scriptures about events on earth later are not ones which must happen before the Lord returns for His church.

Poll: Tattoo artist: if a Christian daughter/son of yours worked as one, would you be supportive?

@Mantis I'm sure this is true about being addictive in some cases; I was interested to see FHII's post: FHII said: ↑

Thanks to all who voted so far in the poll. (NB: If you have not yet voted in the poll, please vote now.)

The founding fathers of modern-day Premillennialism were heretics.

@Ronald Nolette Kind of the argument of political campaigners, right? because one person someplace is or is not something or other, therefore this supposedly proves something else about everybody everywhere............
