You are missing the bigger picture here. Jesus came only to the lost sheep of Israel. They rejected Him and crucified Him. Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. But it wasn't worldly people that despised Him and killed Him...it was God's people. If you can't see the irony and the paradox...
