    What is New Testament Holiness?

A humble person doesn't try to avoid the instructions given to those whom God is trying to warn. God warns ALL people. The humble listen and turn away from unrighteousness. But people will be people. It takes many kinds of people to make up a creation. God will judge people and sort them out...

    What is New Testament Holiness?

The world might well be indifferent to righteousness. But the church in our time is indifferent to holiness. The wrath of God is meant for those who are indifferent to Jesus Christ....both in the world and the church. Each bears a responsibility according to the level of their calling.

    New Album is out.

I played in his band 35 years ago out west. I used to speak to him about the kingdom of God before and after band practice. He ended up becoming a believer. Now we look for projects to do together.

    Bishop Barron on Holiness

We will nor seek for something we think, or in the case of holiness, assume, we have. We can lose what we have mislabeled. How important is holiness in the lives of believers? Is this not worth investigating?

Denying the Cross: How to do it

You are teaching people how to avoid the cross....as your OP states.

Unity of the faith - at what cost?

Unity of the faith can only be by resurrection life and a living witness of Christ. The LAST thing we will come to is doctrinal unity as we all experience that same life. I think it is necessary to discern what constitutes actual doctrine...apart from human interpretations and preferences...

    Bishop Barron on Holiness

The slippery slope is the religious notion that what one has surmised or assumed ABOUT Jesus is the same as being an actual follower of Christ. We are to be DOERS of His words not just hearers and commentators. Bishop Barron is right in describing how one needs to put Christ at the center of...

    Bishop Barron on Holiness

Attaining holiness is by grace through faith. It is a gift of God given to those who forsake their own lives. It is a gift of intimacy with the living God. There is no process of attaining holiness. There is no progressive sanctification. We are either holy by being in God's presence...or we...

    NO Law : Always Righteous

Very muddled here. The law of Moses is no longer an indication of righteousness. Judaism is outmoded. Temple holiness no longer exists. But those who transgress the law also transgress Christ. There is no Christian escape from the law of God. Gal. 2:17,18 But if, while we seek to be...

    NO Law : Always Righteous

The OP is basically Lawlessness 101. Pay a close attention ...there's going to be a test. ;)

Denying the Cross: How to do it

Enemies of the cross are those who resist the sacrifice of themselves to be dealt with by the power of the cross. Dogmatic religion based on the preservation of the self-life is in direct conflict with the kingdom of God. God is selfless. Being conformed to Christ means self-sacrifice. Those who...

    Man : Tri-Part

This is spiritualizing the problem of sin away. It is mere propaganda. Man is a living soul...not a spirit. God is Spirit. He gives us a spirit to connect with us. And we live in a temporal body. We have a body...but we are not a body. We are not a spirit. We are a soul who has a body and a...

Our inner child needs divine love

Actually the spirit of a man returns to the Lord...and the body returns to the dust of the earth...but we are not a spirit or body but a living soul. It is the soul that will be judged..it is who WE are. We are a soul that inhabits a temporal body. So we can bury our talent of initial grace and...
