Would you go to your brothers 2nd wedding after he commited adultery?

Not that this is a salvation issue, it may be held against you. 2 Chronicles 15:7 But you, be strong, and don’t slack off; for your work will be rewarded.” Matthew 12:36 And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak.

Would you go to your brothers 2nd wedding after he commited adultery?

For months, I’ve thought about starting a thread entitled, “The Forbidden Virtue: Loyalty.” The adage is true, “A friend in need is a friend, indeed.” Few weddings would be attended if the guests presence certified 100% agreement with everything the bride and groom ever did. I‘ve been told many...

    Trump and Politics

It must gall you that more Americans voted for Trump than any candidate in American history.

Would you go to your brothers 2nd wedding after he commited adultery?

It all depends on the relationship with your brother. A great friend has me in both wedding parties. His twin brother was the best man in the first wedding. In the 2nd wedding, where there was adultery, the twin "had to work." I don't think there relationship was ever the same.

Should we as Christians support the State of Israel ?

Not sure what kind of pacifist angle you are working. Satan is spirit and he's destined for the Lake of Fire. Putting aside your false spiritual/carnal dichotomy, that is the righteous use of violence.

Should we as Christians support the State of Israel ?

That there is such a thing as righteous violence.

Should we as Christians support the State of Israel ?

Nope. The great Persian culture will continue, hopefully without the oppressive Islamic contagion.

Should we as Christians support the State of Israel ?

So that’s why Christians can’t support Israel - cuz my lack of love.

    THE FAKE KJV ONLY ARGUMENT

LOL. Disgruntled at IDOLATRY perhaps. There aren't too many threads trying to keep the hope alive for other translations. The IDOLATRY of this question is maddening. KJVO folks always act like others have to proof their IDOL is false. What an absurd question! I can read and instantly tell the...

    THE FAKE KJV ONLY ARGUMENT

I would not trouble the almighty with that prayer! if someone wants t o study archaic books, knock yourself out. I have ZERO interest and only antipathy for Spending my time.

Should we as Christians support the State of Israel ?

Not sure why you’re trying to make this personal. The Bible is one of the most violent books ever written, violence commanded by God, violence not condemned by God as I cited, violence done by Jesus in his life, violence Jesus implied by taking out our own eye and buying a sword, and the...

    I'm such a newb...

Begin in gratitude. I like to state my concerns, pray for specific worldly solutions and allow for his Providence to expand. Example: Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for this day and the weekend I had to Sabbath. I'm grateful for the doctors and nurses who were able to treat my wife in the ER...

    THE FAKE KJV ONLY ARGUMENT

Brother I'm trying to agree with you. Don't make it hard! LOL The example of Jesus emotions from Mark 3 were directed at people not abstract concepts like "truth." If you don't think there is a difference, then bless your heart and make a blessed day.

Should we as Christians support the State of Israel ?

Then you are drawing the wrong lesson. It's as carnal as it gets.

A bit of a mess in the White House.

My wife says their moral poles are reversed as written in Isaiah 5:20, what's right is wrong and what's wrong is right.

It's not consistent with Mary Had A Little Lamb either but if you look FOR Scriptural support, you might just find it. :gd

How is it that you come by your information?

I suppose that is your thesis but I find it wanting. We can read God's word translated into English. Perhaps invoking "information" you meant to speak of knowledge and wisdom. At my first Bible Study, the pastor was fond of quoting the first 4 words of the Bible. In the beginning, God. This is...

Galatians 5:1–6: Is Paul Cutting off the Circumcised?

It's all about what do you rely on. We rely on the blood of Jesus Christ and his grace extending to us. PERIOD. FULL STOP. We don't rely on our own virtue, like being circumcised or any other works. It's another way of saying you cannot please God without faith (meaning faith in him, not in...

THE BANNED PROPHET: EXAMINING WHY THE BOOK OF ENOCH WAS PURGED FROM THE CANON

Yea, Christians have nothing to debate without the book of Enoch. sml
