Hi @Lizbeth Some ppl do go to Leviticus 28 about cutting for the dead, etc., the adjacent verse also seems to say about not trimming the corner of one's beard - as with OT Jews in the land under the law. A lot of Christians in North America who would take a generally dispensational view of...

As regards Leviticus 28, there is also the matter of whether living as Jews is to be imposed on the church; do preachers shave? if they do, maybe they are admitting that they are NT Christians under grace rather than OT Jews with bushy beards in the land, under...

@Lizbeth Hebrews 7.25: "able to save" (Hebrews 7.25); "able to keep" (Jude 24). If someone ultimately dies in unbelief, the person was never truly saved in the first place; "He that hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1.6).

@Taken Great to look at the subject from a deeper, doctrinal perspective. I love also how in a sublime and practical way the Lord's Supper is linked with the Rapture of the church: 'till He come' (1 Corinthians 11.26).
