@Taken Mary the mother of the Lord Jesus is not actually called 'Mother of God' in Scripture. Mary's supposed perpetual virginity is not actually taught in Scripture. (Matthew 1 speaks of the Lord Jesus as her firstborn; she did have other children.)

1 Corinthians 11.26 seems to link the coming of the Lord Jesus with the church; it's very clear in this verse.
