    1 John 1:9

The mind and conscience (spirit and soul) are invisible, but real. They are born again now, and when the body dies, the spirit and soul of the reborn return to the Father awaiting the resurrection when they will be rejoined with their new incorruptible body that has become immortal also. When...

    1 John 1:9

Yes, and that is why 1 John 1:10 refutes that no one is born without ever sinning as is claimed in that verse. But all three verses of those in darkness, verses 6, 8 and 10 are before Christ and before confession of our sin which is our inability by ourselves to be totally righteous as we must...

Does God love, or hate unbelievers?

The most common scripture in the world answers your question. John 3:16

How can anyone fall for the errors of Calvinism ?

Yes, but some "believe" in the wrong way and use grace as a covering for sinning. Those who actually believe, do so by first repenting of their sin to receive Christ's powerful Spirit to free us from the desire to sin.

    1 John 1:9

All? Who said all? All what? All people? Even all unbelieving sinners?

    1 John 1:9

You misread my post. Go back and see that only our spirit and soul are born again NOW and has put on immortality. Not our body. It must still die, and then be resurrected for that to happen to it also.

    1 John 1:9

Your statement is the opposite of the meaning of 2 Corinthians 5:15. Sin is always held against a person if committed willfully. We then don't belong to Jesus, but to the devil. Romans 6:15-16. That statement was from King David AFTER he confessed his sin and was forgiven. That confessed sin...

How does the Body of Christ Mature?

Without the Spirit of Christ we don't even belong to Christ. Romans 8:9. And the Holy Spirit plants the fruit of the Spirit in us, so maturing them is how we grow. Peter said it best, and verses 5-7 should be memorized and preached by every denomination if we really want to go to heaven. Read...

    Are we prisoners?

I do all the time. You must have me on ignore.

    Are we prisoners?

cc: @MatthewG Freedom from SIN. John 8:32-36. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” 33 They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?” 34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly...

    1 John 1:9

Behold, listen to me now. Do you know what the word "establish" means as in the last verse of Romans 3? 31 Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law. Establish means to start, set up, begin, initiate to name a few. So it is not talking...

Christians are sinners, but not of the devil

What you are reteaching from your false teachers is a doctrine of demons. Sinners do NOT go to heaven. That is why we need Jesus to free us from sin, not just cover our sin like the blood of bulls and goats. 1 John 3:8 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning...

    1 John 1:9

You have twisted it to mean we actually sin, but Christ's imputed righteousness covers it. That is heresy.

    1 John 1:9

There are two meanings for "flesh." In Romans 8:8-9 Paul means carnal nature. The old man. We are spirit, soul and body. The spirit/mind and soul/conscience - our 'nature' has died and been reborn of the Spirit and become immortal. We have been given the mind of Christ. What Paul doesn't want...

    Repentance endless cycle

So if you are also a Christian, then why did you say "Keep in mind however, that being born again does not exempt you from sinning, in fact all among us who are born again still sin maam." I can understand you saying that by your experience when you said, "No maam, I am not born again." And...

    1 John 1:9

Taking Romans 4 out of the 8 chapter teaching as a stand alone, when Paul clearly clears up the error it can cause in chapter 6 is ignorance. "My" theology establishes the eternal law of God. And the true meaning of Grace. Not your licentious meaning of grace you think is the truth. And...

Enoch, There are two meanings for "flesh." In Romans 8:8-9 Paul means carnal nature. The old man. We are spirit, soul and body. 1 John 1:9

You did: and a verse that says that God does not charge sin to the born again....including Romans 4:8. , does not encourage your self righteousness, and never will. So you are saying you can sin and not be charged if you are in Christ. IOW, you don't understand the power of God to prevent us...

    1 John 1:9

If you are dead to sin, Romans 6, what do you base your belief on scripturally?
  20. 1stCenturyLady

    1 John 1:9

But, I don't do that. That is what you don't understand. And Jude 1:4 does mean what I said, not your twisted view that we can sin with no condemnation. Your view is the Gnostic view, specifically the Nicolaitans. Paul spoke against your view and theirs when he said, 1 What shall we say then...
