Actually, your words are often encouraging to me... and probably to a lot of people.

Two small books by the same author, Bob Goff, might help: They are Love Does and Everybody, Always.

    The Verdict... Guilty.

It seems "The Scholars" may have fallen short of the opportunity they were all given to witness for God.

What Mormons Believe--according to a Former BYU Professor

Don't bother with the enlarging. It is a triple pain in the butt to have to do that for every post since this forum doesn't allow that being done as a default. Most of us with vision problems already have our own computers set to 150 or 175 ZOOM.

Bet you just love Emerson and Thoreau. LOL A sentence often claimed to be the longest sentence ever written is in Molly Bloom's soliloquy in the James Joyce novel Ulysses (1922), which contains a "sentence" of 3,687 words

Even though I don't believe the same way LDS people do, I can clearly see many things they speak of as coming directly from Scripture. And that is a simple fact you can check out for yourself. It may not be how you or I read it, but it is still taken right from the pages of the Bible. (Not...

PW, are you saying that The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints deliberately lies by deception and omission, about what they believe? How is it then, that I have always known about Joseph Smith and the plates, and the American Indians, and baptizing for the dead, and Kolob and eternal...

Well, one might make that same defense for you, the way you speak of Vineyard Fellowships. But, having been there for five or six years, I know you cannot judge one Vineyard by another. I tend to believe, because we are all human, that could be the case with any denomination.

I do have one regret. I am Vineyard, but I cannot attend a Vineyard church at this time because it is about a three hour round-trip to any Vineyard except the one we quit about a year ago because they went 100% "Rainbow" and "no hell." (They were only about ten minutes away.) Vineyards are...

Does it make any sense that if a person was lied to in order to get them to join an organization... that they would stay there for even a day more if they were suddenly made to now know all sorts of things that had been kept secret from them when they were recruited? I sure would on the first...

Anyone should be ashamed and embarrassed of going to a disgruntled ex-member of ANY organization to get "supposedly" accurate, unbiased information about that group.

OK. I was just confused trying to find one.

I didn't get it, so I asked my wife to also read that post. And, she said "This relates to that song… How?"

One of my favorite singers told us how simple "witnessing" is.

    "SATAN Is A PUNK!"

*jshill*, are you willing to spend around $10 for a book that tops any I have ever read? (and I taught Sex Offender classes for 24 years.)
