Ephesians 2.8 and Hebrews 11 lay huge emphasis on faith and not once do those passage mention baptism, least of all as the supposed essential means of bringing someone to true, saving faith. Baptismal regeneration is a myth.

For the remission of sins = on account of the remission of sins. It's not the water that produces the remission. This would replace faith in the work of Christ on the Cross with the tub of water instead.

Baptism is a symbol; not a means to salvation. In Acts 2.41, those who gladly received his word were baptized. They were not baptized in order to become believers; they were baptized because they were believers. Baptismal regeneration is utterly false and a dangerous idea.
