@Taken Thoughtful post, indeed..... Reading Scripture reminds me of climbing a mountain, which requires time and effort, and not until one had expended all the time and effort does one get to see a glorious panorama in the long distance, from the summit...

I hardly think the Lord expects women to be the fainting waifs and shrinking violets of Victorian mythology. This is why learning self-defence techniques can be helpful.

Whether or not as actual signed up members of the military, it can clearly be helpful for women to spend time learning techniques at a boot camp.

When @shortangel reads this thread again, she will be surprised maybe at the number of posts it has accumulated already... She did well to highlight the important subject of self-defence for women.
