    @Johann I love that passage, actually; and have done for many years: see the contrast between sovereign grace and where we were. All the young ppl with Bible verses tattooed with whom I have spoken do seem anyway to have had them done for witness tool reasons. It's actually quite widespread...

    @TLHKAJ Those events if only 2 ½ years ago must be still extremely fresh in your mind. 2 Corinthians 1.3-5. If he was only 17 (how young), he probably wasn't old enough for a tattoo in any case (at least, in some states).

    @Taken I read that before the American Civil War it was in some places rather widespread for women to be seen smoking after church. (Tell that to today's zealots, right?)

    @Taken I was just thinking; you mentioned on the other thread that for some ppl in these virus and vaccination times it might even be healthy to be a smoker because of some of its beneficial properties, with regard to the Jab. I wonder if evidence might similarly emerge that actually getting...
