    The Lord makes it clear from Philippians 2 that 'it is God that worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure'.

    The point is that God's grace keeps the true believer. Human effort or merit does not save.

    @MatthewG To continue the theme of the discussion on the other thread just now: his tattoos would all seem to point to Scripture truths, right? :)
