Did Jesus rise Good Friday to Easter Sunday Morning according the Bible?

It doesn't matter. Jesus was speaking in the language of the day with the understanding of colloquialisms of the day! Just like if we say its raining cats and dogs out. We of today know what is meant, but someone 1500 years from now, unless they learned of our colloquial way of speaking would...

Did Jesus rise Good Friday to Easter Sunday Morning according the Bible?

Yes the bible teaches Jesus rose on sunday- the first day of the week! Matthew 28:1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. Mark 16:2 And very early in the morning the first day of the week...

Did Jesus rise Good Friday to Easter Sunday Morning according the Bible?

Once again, in teh times Jesus lived and even today in Jewish culture, Jews would count any part of a day as a whole day in conversation. So while Jesus did not spend 72 hours in the grave (before sundown friday to after sundown and before dawn sunday) Jews would have said three days! So on...

    What does "fall away" mean?

Sorry Tony but the first Christians were those in the upper room atr Pentecost. They believed in the Messiahship of Jesus and became Christians afdter Pentecost. but believer is generic and who and what they believed in depended on the time they lived in in order to be saved. Noah did not...

    The Israelites and the Law

Yes and those Romans 2 Jews are3 the physical descendants of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. We are all descendnants of Noah but not of teh patriarchs. That is just error that has been fully debunked. I stand in amazement at how some very intelligent believers toss aside so many rules of grammar and...

    What does "fall away" mean?

There has always been believers. But we need to differentiate what they place their trust in. True believers under teh Mosaic Law did not place their trust in the death and physical resurrection of Jesus as the payment of their sin. They placed their faith in god and were believers.

    What does "fall away" mean?

They believed Jesus could do miracles. But having the Christian faith - not yet. People did not have the Christian faith to save until Pnetecost.

Did Jesus rise Good Friday to Easter Sunday Morning according the Bible?

Well the bible clearly shows He died on a Friday (day before the Sabbath) and rose on Sunday (the first day of the week. Your problem is that you do not understand the Jewish culture. Jews counted a day as any part of a day. So Jesus dying at c. 3 pm Friday to sundown Friday was day one...

    Luke as Investigative Journalist

Well it is not so much to explore as to learn, receive by faith and rejoice.

    The Israelites and the Law

Once again you are privately interpreting Scripture. The Mosaic Law (all 613 command including the ministry of death in stone) are fulfilled and moot now. We serve under a new law, the Law of Christ. And once again Christians are not Israelites unless they are physical descendnats of Abraham...

    About the "Holy Rosary" prayer

Prayer to any other than the Father is idolatry.

Did Jesus rise Good Friday to Easter Sunday Morning according the Bible?

You brought no biblical evidence against Friday through Sunday. all you did was raised the fact that much of the easter traditions used do have pagan origins. Jesus died on Passover which was a Friday that year. Passover is called Pesach in Hebrew and is an 8 day celebration for teh 7 day...

    Luke as Investigative Journalist

Quite simple. God was behind the motivations and writings of Luke. It was God who inspired Luke thus making his gospel inspired to the level of scrip[tural inspiration.

    Hyper-grace: then and now

Someday it would be nice and defend your false accusation that teh five points of Calvinism are demonically inspired and of Satan. YOu love to accuse and condemn in your posts but are very short on proving your false witness against teh brethren. You rail against other peoples salvation by...

    What Is Atonement?

Atonement is much simpler thjan this. In the OT it is "kapar" which means to cover over. So when atonement was made for sins, it covered over the sins. As it says in Hebrews, the blood of bulls and goats could never remove sin. In the NT it is "katallage" which is an exchange. what was...

Elect or Not Elect: Why ALL Should Be Alarmed

We should be alert and prepared, but rejoicing and at peace. Even in these last days we are still more than overcomers because of Him who loves us.
