The Pillar and Ground of the Truth

Jesus said...you did not choose Me, but I chose you. THAT is what being a disciple is about. You need to be hired for the job of being an ambassador. No one appoints themselves as a representative of Christ...whether a Catholic, a reformer, or an individual.

The Pillar and Ground of the Truth

You are right of course. The reformation is like what happened with Cain and Abel. Cain was upset that God didn't seem to approve of him...the reformers were upset because God didn't speak directly to them. Cain murdered his brother...and Luther murdered the truth. Luther had a eureka moment...

The Pillar and Ground of the Truth

Hilarious. Of course all reformers agree on the same errors. All Darwinists agree with evolution too....that doesn't make it "sound" for their vote of confidence. Can you say...group think? What does God have to say about this?

    All Israel will be saved

You are inventing fables of what I'm saying and this shows through. The Gentiles and Jews in Christ ARE Israel...the Israel of God. There is no difference based on DNA. You are stuck in the natural and are not taking into account the will of God nor what is spiritual and eternal in nature...

    The false premise of Universalism.

Do you a whole bible study course? Use google....or give it a few years of study. To help you...look up...and the nations of them who are saved.
  6. Episkopos

    The false premise of Universalism.

If you read carefully you will see the distinction between saints and faithful brethren....between they who are spiritual and they who are not there yet. Nobody begins the Christian walk as mature brethren....and not everyone is equally gifted or has as much faith.
  7. Episkopos

    The false premise of Universalism.

That is not correct. Only the saints PRESENTLY have the eternal kind of life. But there are three other destinies among they who will be saved. There are the saints who live in the holy city....and there are the saved of the nations (the righteous)..and there are they who wander in outer...

    All Israel will be saved

Funny! Actually you need another opinion here. There is but one bride. It is the Messianic heresy that separates Israel from all they who are in Christ. The Messianics try to peddle the 2 bride scenario whereby the Jews are permanently ruling over the nations in the next age. But this is to...

    All Israel will be saved

You just confirmed my first diagnosis. Do you realize that Christ is over Israel...I mean really? You may not realize what you are actually doing after all.

    True believer?

We are to get along with people from every faith...based on our common humanity and with the idea of a common righteousness...loving your neighbour as yourself. This is quite apart from what people believe in. This is about our real personhood in this world.

    All Israel will be saved

This is a smokescreen to raise up an identity over Christ. It is as if Jesus never came in the flesh. That is the present Jewish position and this resonates with all they who reject Christ. They who see Israel over Christ are false Christians and should be exposed as such.

A Wheel In The Middle Of A Wheel

Hilarious. But the truth is given to us as a wheel within a wheel...the layers of truth. With holiness at it's center...and with an outer ring of righteousness that proceeds from the center like heat coming from a fire. Holiness produces righteousness in the world...giving light and heat. All...

    Dogmatic Certainties

    UNDENIABLE AGNOSTicISM.....o_O:p:cool:

    Dogmatic Certainties

Maybe you should start a thread called "dogmatic uncertainty" to cover your agnostic POV. ;) I never intimated that the truth cannot be known. The dogmatic part is where you are told what to believe in a ready made format. IOW an easy and shallow acceptance of something that goes deeper than...

The sin that dwells in us....

God works on us....but we also must seek God for the full measure of grace. So they are not the same at all. If you visit me...you can know where I live....but that doesn't tell me where you live. How can we follow Christ is we only know Him when He is with us? We also need to go to WHERE He is...

The sin that dwells in us....

The new covenant is about getting a new heart...not a new mind. The mind needs to be renewed by living from the heart. So then Romans 7 is a realization that being born again (Christ in you) does not instantly remedy all the problems of sin. No, we also need to abide in Christ to be filled with...

    Dogmatic Certainties

Overwhelming clarity. Certainties of the religious kind reflect an advantage to the person...making them "saved" and others not ...for adhering to certain religious beliefs.
  18. Episkopos

The sin that dwells in us....

You are issuing pure hyperbole...and itself this is way off base. So just another false statement and accusation...that goes with your brain conditioning. Look at the text... 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the...

    Dogmatic Certainties

Rational debates can only happen when there are rational arguments.

    Explain & Apply John 16:13

A fine example of the Holy Spirit speaking is at Antioch when the Spirit said...."separate for Me (God) Paul and Barnabas for the work I am sending them to."
