    Why was there a reformation?

Lol....That reminds we of a couple passages in Scripture that says opposite of what you say: James 2:24 and 2:18 Who should I believe? You or Scripture?

    Why was there a reformation?

Hold on....HOLD ON....your kidding? Right? The dark ages were from about 476 to about 1000 AD. The inquisitions were in the 12th century. How was the dark ages the cause of the Inquisitions when the dark ages came first???

    Huh???

    Why was there a reformation?

So the record stands to be true. You are biased. Thank you. The pope is only supposed to repeat what the Church teaches. The teachings of The Church are infallible....not the pope. For you see the Church is the pillar and foundation of truth....Just like Scripture says.

    Why was there a reformation?

Who decides what a false teaching is? Luther??? No comparison? So if I torture 1,000 people and you only torture 100 then you are more justified than I am? Weird....

    Why was there a reformation?

Hi Truth, It sure would be nice if you spoke the truth. You don't even know your own Christian history. Luther DID NOT post 95 false doctrines of The Church. And now you are alleging that there were more than 95? Sooooo are you even going to at least TRY and answer my question: Did you know...

    Why was there a reformation?

Truly a sad time in Christian history. It should have never happened. Did you know your protestant brothers tortured and killed other Protestants and Catholics? Does that act by them nullify all their 'Holy Spirit inspired' dogma's, doctrines and beliefs?

    Why was there a reformation?

Fascinating. So you believe that Martin Luther was inspired by the Holy Spirit. You must be a Lutheran?

    Why was there a reformation?

Wow....such an articulate defense of your theory. Try to get a dig on me instead of saying something that backs up your theory.....how sad...for you.

    Why was there a reformation?

Soooo let the record show that you can't provide a post from you where you attack your fellow protestants like you do The Church. Bias at it's core. BTW...you got ANOTHER thing wrong (par for the course). The Church doesn't teach that the pope is infallible.

    Why was there a reformation?

Which post was that in? Curious Mary

    Why was there a reformation?

Well, I never said that "they split from us" so I'm not sure why you assume that AND it appears that you are not going to provide any historical evidence for your statement soooooo I guess your false statements will have to stand on their own since you won't defend them.

    Why was there a reformation?

Hey Bob, Historically it can be proven that what you said is simply not true! Would you like to clarify your statement? Curious Mary

    Why was there a reformation?

Hey TEXBOW. Why are you always foaming at the mouth to bad mouth The Pope and The Catholic Church???? The Luterans, Baptist, Methodist and multiple other Protestant denominations are structured just like The Church: a leader, dogma, doctrine, relics, religious garb etc etc. Can you share...

    Why was there a reformation?

Nope, Scripture is not so simple kiddo. Your theory is that as long as we, the disciples of Christ, love one another that makes us a member of The Church spoken of in Scripture? Thats your theory? There are over 180,000 words in the NT and you think that those 16 words boil down what The...

    Why was there a reformation?

I feel like your joking. MY understanding of cornerstone and foundation is wrong?????????????????????????? Those passages LITERALLY don't say what you allege they say. You have twisted them around to fit what you believe. Who is helping you with your bible study????? Whomever it is you should...

    Why was there a reformation?

No, not true. Read those verses again. Acts 4:11 talks about Jesus being the cornerstone. A cornerstone is part of a foundation. So you got that one wrong. Read 1 Corinthians 3:11 again. It says that Christ laid a foundation....it doesn't say He is the foundation. Also, read 1 Corinthians 3:10...

Why does Jesus speak in Parables?

Parables were a common method of teaching used by Rabbis and prophets in the ancient world (see 2 Sam. 12:1-9). It was a teaching style well known and accepted. Jesus spoke in parables to make the Kingdom of God more easily understood by the people. Often times when trying to explain...

    Why was there a reformation?

Hold on. Hold on kiddo. Jesus said 'you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church' but YOU say "Peter is not the rock on which the Church was built." It seems to me what you are saying contradicts what is written in Scripture. So your theory is that "the collection of believers" is...
