@Truman Well, I see....So were you surprised that your son's mother was so evidently keen for your son to be tattooed? :) It used to be a man thing, decades ago, but it's now the case that in a family it's the womenfolk that will likely be as keen - or keener - than the menfolk to do it...

@Josho It's good to pursue Biblical practices as per Acts 2.42: "And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers." (I wouldn't use the word rituals, though.)

@Truman Oh of course; I was forgetting you have health issues; hope you can cope with them. So are your kids that you mention old enough to get tattoos for themselves? (Many Christian young ppl get faith based designs tattooed.)

@devin553344 So did you ever talk to a tattoo artist about having it touched up with a bit more ink, to keep your military tattoo distinct and clear? (Ppl often do that, after a number of years.)
