    I am pondering . . . why . . .

Nice! Now imagine that the city was floating in the air so that only the angels and saints could enter into it. The other people...the righteous and the eternal outcasts would have no way of entering in.

    I am pondering . . . why . . .

Have you considered that the new earth is somewhere else in the galaxy....or even beyond this galaxy? There is nothing limiting God to remain in this location. God is God of the whole universe. My estimation is that this world will become the lake of fire...a planet that is destroyed...but...

    Easter question

The faith of Christ is not about religious observances. It's about knowing our need of God and approaching Him with a trust in humility and fear making our requests to Him according to His will. If that doesn't work right away...repeat with more and more of yourself engaged until you succeed. :)

Who will Save You? (pick only one)

Well, Godzilla, Thor and the Easter bunny can definitely be ruled out.

    True Human Being?

It was Jung that said that in order to be enlightened we must first pass through hell. Acts 14:22 strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.” If enlightenment was easy then more...

    True Human Being?

The Hebrew word for life in humans is "Hayim"....or lives in the plural. That means we are to have faculties in two dimensions : we have animal carnal senses in order to be in this world and experience that... AND (at least when we walk in the Spirit) we have spiritual senses that cause us to...

Must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

God has to get involved by our asking, seeking and knocking. Perseverance is required. There are three things I have discovered as requirements in those tasks that we need to have to be "heard" by God. 1 We need to know our need of God. IOW we need to ask seek and knock with an intensity that...

Must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

There is no universal holiness. Of course the holy ones are going to be an incredibly small number. Jesus said so Himself. But you have to realize that any kind of productivity or advancement in the world is the result of a very tiny minority doing all the inventing, or the implementing. If...

Must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

God is holy. In the past God allowed unholy men to worship Him in a certain location...the temple. It was the temple that was holy...not the people. But now WE are the temple and WE need to be holy in order to carry God's presence with us. So we are to walk in the same anointing as Jesus...

The difference between Christian music and Worship Music

Slow...had a bad cold for a few weeks which set me back. And I'm trying to finish the jazz project before tackling the new guitar project. Until all the elements are present...it's hard to not postpone the final release. It will happen...Lord willing! :)

The difference between Christian music and Worship Music

Worship music is directed at God. Spiritual songs are for other people in the sight of God. These may be edifying or instructional....inspirational. Paul says...to sing with hymns AND spiritual songs. And not just to God but also to one another. But all as unto the Lord. Eph. 5:19 Speaking...

Seek the Lord with all your heart

As with all biblical polarities....this statement is to be weighed with other scriptures. As such, it simply means that no one seeks hard after God without help or inspiration. People do end up seeking God...or else the biblical admonition would be pointless. So then the first time we find God...

    A balanced life

Now for some strange reason Christianity has become synonymous with leaning way over to the right of the political spectrum. But a Christian should never lean one way or the other. A Christian is to be centrist...balanced...and non-partisan where the opinions and aspirations of men are...

No one can see the Kingdom of God unless...

This is only so if the word EL is embedded in the name of the person. But in the case of Immanu-El...the words are separate in the Hebrew text. And this means that Immanu-el is not a name but a statement. "God is with us" It is the akin to where the holy city is to be called "Yahweh shamah" or...

No one can see the Kingdom of God unless...

Well we know that Stephen saw into the third heaven in real time. (In Acts) And that is by a vision superimposed on the natural vision. A sight beyond sight. We have references from the OT with Elijah and his servant who were permitted to see into the spiritual realm. We also read of John who...

No one can see the Kingdom of God unless...

Fair enough. I think a certain amount of skepticism is healthy...and at certain times necessary to show a sobriety of mind. Too many people just make a fantasy out of what they read in the bible...and just place themselves into the text without any other indicator than what they have come to...

No one can see the Kingdom of God unless...

Of course. :) People throw around insults when they have no argument. Maybe these should show a basic human maturity and forego on a topic they have no understanding about. I don't think people here with few exceptions know about the kingdom of God as more than just an imaginary concept...

No one can see the Kingdom of God unless...

What is your experience of the kingdom? I don't think that many have any idea what the kingdom even is. Remember we are part of a religion of salvation that claims all the verses but without the power that shows we are walking in the Spirit and truth.

Universalism: Where Do People Get The Idea

Rejecting Christ is something very specific. There are literally billions of people who are not Christian but who've not rejected Christ either. Our job is to present Christ in such a way so as they encounter Him. THEN...if they reject Him...that's for condemnation. But with the sorry excuse...
