Jesus overcame...and won. But now we must also overcome and win as He did. We do this IN Him. Rev. 3:21 To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. They don't teach that in Sunday school do they?
