@Mink57 Yes, and it's wonderful to see how the Old Testament promises and prophecies are fulfilled in the NT in the Person and Work of the Lord Jesus. Isaiah 53, for example (& Acts 8.26-40); Psalm 23 and the shepherd; the Good Shepherd of John chapter 10. So much there......

Hi @fashcoca , good to see you. Trusting you will be blessed by your reading of the Scriptures. John chapter 3 is great passage to read.

I don't see that 'saved today, lost tomorrow' is Scriptural. But that great verse quoted in Philippians 1.6 shows that a work of faith begun by God in the heart, is something that continues, even as we are enabled to lean on the finished work of Christ; John 19.30; Hebrews chapters 9 and 10.

@Mink57 It's good if ppl can move on from being dominated by hormones and instead concentrate their minds and hearts on Scripture which speaks of fellowship with a sin-hating God Who provided a Redeemer through Whom reconciliation was made possible at the Cross....

Actually I would see from 1 Corinthians 10.32 the church, Israel and the Gentiles would seem to be distinct.

@Lambano I guess prioritizing is another way of putting it. (Or even 'de-prioritizing'.....) In the end it's the time we redeem in prayer and Bible reading that counts.
