    Carried away with their dissimulation

All Christians are a work in progress Vicky, even the apostles as you see. None of us are above counsel, and at times all of us need it, in this case Peter. To me, hypocrisy is one of the hardest things to take, it is disgusting and in truth disappointing, with one of the quickest ways to form...

The Lord's Day (Rev. 1:10) - Sabbath (7th) or Sunday (1st) or Eschatological day or something else?

I am glad your faith meets those qualifiers sir, but you stated mine did not, may I ask how?

The Lord's Day (Rev. 1:10) - Sabbath (7th) or Sunday (1st) or Eschatological day or something else?

You got the point RE, deliberately changing God's name to LORD is extremely severe. In fact I would venture to say that manipulation is one of the biggest factors in people rejecting Jehovah today. I proved my case.

Believing in Jesus Christ Is How We Are Saved

Your last passage should clear up the meaning Chris. All Christians are Christ's followers, but not all are sealed with the holy spirit, those anointed ones are sealed as a special possession.

    Suffering?

The verses that was about the anointed ones who suffer, were actually baptized into Jesus' death sir. Many of them did literally suffer as Jesus did. You are taking an English word and trying to make it literal, Christians do not have to suffer literally to have salvation.

    Moses

We or I should be inconsequential in that situation maam, in Moses case it was because he gave the credit for extracting water from the rock to himself and Aaron, rather than to Jehovah. Those who baptize have no spiritual connection to the baptized one, it is between them and God, although not...

    The Anti-Christ spirit test.

Yes sir, the Bible speaks about them in 1 Tim 3:5 by saying they have a form of Godly devotion, but prove false to its power, from these turn away. So like Jesus said, the post you responded to, a Christian can be identified by their fruits. Jesus does save sir, but salvation is yet future, and...

How Former Believers Are Still Saved?

Although not the judge, I agree with you scripturally, that is why I answered the way I did. The best way is to recognize God's people and go with them therefore extinguishing any doubt about the future Zech 8:23

Believing in Jesus Christ Is How We Are Saved

You got that right Dan'l, no one who does not believe in the Son (Jesus) will have everlasting life. Keep in mind however, that many who do believe in him, will not either, as seen in Mat 7:21-23 which leads to the question why? Do you have the answer sir?
  10. Robert Gwin

    Moses

We believe it was because Moses asked the people, do we have to get water from this rock clarified later at Numbers 20:10, instead of giving God the credit.

    Psalm 119:96

Sometimes comparing versions helps in understanding maam, as well as context by surrounding verses. 96 I have seen a limit to all perfection, But your commandment has no limit. The psalmist is speaking about perfection from a human viewpoint. He likely had in mind that man’s concept of...

The Lord's Day (Rev. 1:10) - Sabbath (7th) or Sunday (1st) or Eschatological day or something else?

Like you showed in parenthesis, Jehovah was there not Lord, so clearly King James chose to change YHWH to Adonai, do you think that was through ignorance, or a deliberate manipulation RE?

The Lord's Day (Rev. 1:10) - Sabbath (7th) or Sunday (1st) or Eschatological day or something else?

If you meet these scriptural qualifiers then you are there sir: 1. The one faith would worship the God Jehovah exclusively. (Matthew 4:10) Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written: ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to Him alone you must render sacred service.’”...

Believing in Jesus Christ Is How We Are Saved

Not in you, but as your leader. Christians are followers of Jesus, Jesus is a spirit, who resides in heaven, he does not possess an individual as demons have been recorded as doing. You may have meant that, but I wanted to clarify that point, Jesus is not in us, but we are saved for the why and...

Believing in Jesus Christ Is How We Are Saved

I fully agree, that is our assignment.

    Steps toward salvation

Agree 100% Kopo! Good reply, but of course salvation is a topic of the Bible, and it even encourages us to pursue the prize Php 3:14
  17. Robert Gwin

    The Anti-Christ spirit test.

Jesus said quite clearly that his followers can be identified by their fruits sir. God has given instruction in His word how we are to worship Him. We are instructed to recognize God's people and go with them Zech 8:23

Judges with Evil motives - Bible Study

That is why it is so great that judging has been delegated to Jesus Matt. In our imperfection it is extremely hard to not judge someone, if not impossible. But what is truly a bad trait among us, some of us actually pre judge someone.

    Suffering?

Of course not, but many do suffer, and I seriously doubt if anyone has not ever suffered in their lives at some point.
