I do laugh a bit at the old-fashioned stodginess of people so much younger than me. If Jesus "ate with sinners" and was called "a drunkard" for probably drinking with them too, I imagine He would smile at the same music that makes me smile.

Trying to dispute this makes about as much sense as wanting The Shack to be heresy because the author depicted the Trinity as a Black matronly woman, a young Jewish carpenter, and a Hippie chick..... When everyone knows just what they all look like because we have all those "pictures" someone...

Wasn't the "LAW" of Moses stated very clearly to Jesus in the story of the woman caught in adultery? How did He respond to those words? Were not many things that Jesus did in clear violation of the "LAW"?
