    Where does the Bible say...

Thank you @ReChoired Since you grew up Catholic you already know what The Church teaches on the matter: Christians don't "know" where we are going when they die and Scripture teaches nothing unclean (with sin) will enter the presence of God in heaven (Rev. 21:27). Based on those facts how...

    Where does the Bible say...

Hi watersong, I agree with you. My Church did change the Sabbath. I don't think I ever disagreed with you on that. The very first concrete evidence we have of the men of my Church acknowledging that the Sabbath had been changed from Saturday to Sunday was in a writing by a student of the...

    Where does the Bible say...

Yup, Jesus and the Apostles practiced the Sabbath. Did you know they were Jews???? That is what the Jews did kiddo!! Show me in Scripture where all the apostles continued to practice the Saturday worship after He ascended. Yes, your leader John Knox. You prefer the writings of a 16th...

    Baptism by water

Are you going at least TRY to answer my question: Do you follow ALL of Scripture or just the cherry picked passages that fit your churches theory? If not just let me know and I will move on....

    Baptism by water

Historically we know via a 1st century Christian writing, the Didache (written while the Apostles were still alive, before some NT books), that NT Christians practiced baptizing in running water (a river) but if they had no running water then they would baptize in some other water. But if they...

    Where does the Bible say...

Well, since you were unable to show me a single passage where Jesus said that Christians are to gather on Saturday I guess this conversation is over!

    Where does the Bible say...

Scripture says: Let no one pass judgment on you in questions or with regard to a Sabbath. So please stop judging us Christians who join together on the Lords Day! According to Scripture and 1st century historical writings Christians gathered on the Lords Day (Sunday). Sabbatarianism was the...

    Where does the Bible say...

Nope, I didn't say it the first time.......Does this look familiar: "If you're Catholic you listen to men who teach you the Sabbath is no longer applicable." YOU said that....I just took what YOU said and changed a few words so that my argument is the same as your argument.

    Where does the Bible say...

If your a sabbatarian you listen to men who teach you that the Sabbath is applicable. Why do you follow such men who teach opposite of Scripture?

    Where does the Bible say...

Can you give me chapter and verse where Jesus said keep my command to honor Saturday sabbath? Patient Mary

    Where does the Bible say...

Nope, actually Scripture says in Acts 20:7, 1 Corinthians 16:2, Colossians 2:16-17, and Revelation 1:10 that, even during New Testament times, the Sabbath is no longer binding and that Christians worshiped on the Lord’s day, Sunday. Your theory, your interpretation of Scripture and your...

    Baptism by water

Yup, when John the Baptist was baptizing no souls where being saved. When you read 1 Peter 3:21 you can see all that changed after Jesus was baptized AND he said one is born again thru water and spirit!!! Yup, one can repent without water baptism. But when one starts believing one is to be...

God's Word does ""not"" teach that baptism is essential for salvation.

That is true...I don't know. How can I know something if I have never been told it??? o_O

    Baptism by water

You say "repentance is not baptism by water". Scripture says "repent AND be baptized" and "baptize all". Scripture makes them equal (must do both) and necessary. You don't. It seems you are at odds with Scripture.

Are babies parts of "nations"? Or are only adults and children that are at the age of consent? Can a 35 year old mentally challenged person consent???
