Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@MatthewG You mean, you've decided not to get one like his?

Does God want us to use His name?

@Ronald Nolette Such a glorious passage! "Thus found in fashion as a man, All blameless, spotless, pure, He was obedient unto death, Sin's judgment to endure."

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@MatthewG So is he the guy who did the videos? (I think one was about tattoos, wasn't it?)

    Not my own righteousness?

@MatthewG It all fits also with Romans and Galatians on justification...

What was the purpose of hell/Sheol for?

@MatthewG Romans 8.38-39 contains a glorious promise to the believer about Christ preserving us from being separated by death from His love.

    Why Do You Believe....

Hi @Rudometkin 'Thy word is truth' (John 17.17). :)

Mary found the tomb empty...where did Jesus body go?

@Heart2Soul Good to bear in mind that the Lord Jesus rose bodily, indeed... :)

    The Bible Way of Salvation

    I agree, indeed.

    Great thread; with Biblical answers....

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@MatthewG Indeed and Heavenhome has commented that a lot of older ppl in her area have been getting them: Heavenhome said: christianforums I guess my point is that it can be done with a lot of social confidence today, but in terms of testimony the motive to get them as witness tools can stand...

    Why was Jesus sent?

Another verse close to the last verse posted is at 1 John 4.14: "And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world."

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@MatthewG I was thinking particularly about those who get them for a particular purpose in testimony. Dave L even said he regretted not having gotten a faith based tattoo when he was younger. Dave L said:

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@MatthewG All the young ppl with Bible verses tattooed with whom I have spoken have seemingly gotten them for witness tool reasons. I reckon they would have gone joyfully to the tattoo parlor. (If this makes any sense?)

    Why was Jesus sent?

1 John 4.10: "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins."

    The Bible Way of Salvation

In Acts 2.41, those who gladly received his word were baptized. They were baptized because they believed; they did not become baptized in order supposedly to become believers.

John 3.16: Simple Gospel truth and profound theology

If we can't proclaim the Gospel freely, how do we know to whom we should proclaim the Gospel?

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@devin553344 Some ppl do get one tattoo and no more. Like young ppl who want to use a faith-based one as a witness tool, (rather than in order to keep getting more ink).

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@Ronald Nolette So many Christian young men and women see it an effective witness tool, if indeed they are first of all willing to use it in that way.

John 3.16: Simple Gospel truth and profound theology

I would hold to the free offer of the Gospel 'to every creature'. Acts 17.30: 'God now commandeth all men everywhere to repent'.
