    Thing I’ve always found interesting is the water he transforms to wine is in the pots all the guests had previously washed their hands in.

    My opinion is that the parable was specific to the Jews of that specific age which has came and gone. Jesus was about to send them forward with his spirit to evangelize the known world. Just my opinion the focus of the parable is light/truth which came by Jesus. At the time he spoke this...

    Didn’t they both have oil? Your correct the unwise took no oil, only their lamps. Why would they think they needed a lamp, but no oil. Is there something else an oiless lamp is good for?
