Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@Ronald Nolette All the young ppl with Bible verses tattooed with whom I have talked seem to have had them done for witness reasons, anyway. So I can imagine them having gone with joy into the tattoo parlor.

    Amillennialism versus Dispensationalism

The great white throne in the NT seems to be distinct from the judgment seat of Christ.

Let the Bible interpret the bible

@Ronald Nolette We indeed wait on the Spirit of God to give light and illumination and understanding of the Word of God. 'Blind unbelief is sure to err And scan His works in vain, God is His own interpreter And He will make it plain.'

    Can you repent without works?

@michaelvpardo Divine sovereignty and human responsibility are both abundantly present in Scripture; both are Biblical, indeed.

    Salvation : Beginning

As regards what Paul is saying in Philippians, it was God who began the work in the first place. '...He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ' (Philippians 1.6)

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

(Though I think the lady in the picture above is probably a little older...)

    Salvation : Beginning

Faith really must be a work of God: 'Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. (John 6.29) 'No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.' (John 6.44) 'And he said...

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@Heart2Soul Dave L even regrets not having done it. Dave L said: It's clear how so many Christian young ppl today think a simple little faith design inking can really help their personal witness, anyway.

    Salvation : Beginning

Faith is a work of God, according to John 6. It's not a work of the flesh, of the fallen human will. Paul indicates in Philippians 2 that 'it is God that worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure'.

    Your favorite Psalm?

@PinSeeker From what you say about your wedding, I'm guessing that you and your wife enjoy reading the Psalms together - my wife and I certainly do.... :) (Thanks for the contribs.)

    Salvation : Beginning

If everyone's sins were put away as well as the sins of those who would believe, then why won't everyone be saved?

Hi @VictoryinJesus Some ppl see the restraining influence of the Holy Spirit in the world, even as God's purposes in Christ are worked out.

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@Heart2Soul Even a little Christian fish sign <>< on a wrist, etc., can become a witness talking point... pinterest

    Ever have a supernatural experience?

@Heart2Soul The funny thing is that it seems popular for ppl to look for the supernatural, but then to ignore what Scripture records about the power of God in Creation, in birth of the Lord Jesus, in redemption, in the Resurrection...

    Salvation : Beginning

The salvation in John 3.16 is directed at the whosoever believeth. The sins of everyone everywhere were not effectually put away; but rather of those who believe.

    Salvation : Beginning

@Ronald Nolette The sinner indeed needs the 'But God...' intervention of Divine grace, of which Ephesians 2 speaks.

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@Heart2Soul It can be done today with a lot of social confidence and she probably had it done because she thought it was a really good investment in likely witness conversations when the SOLAs of Scripture would become a talking point. All the young ppl with Bible verses tattooed with whom I...
