The Lord told me to learn Hebrew about 20 years ago now....and gave me an aptitude for it. I studied basically non-stop for years. I think it's easier to learn a third language if you already know 2. Learning a biblical language is good...but not for everyone. :)

Hopefully he's just a Christian as I think God is against man-made denominations that seek to cut up the brethren based on doctrinal preferences. God has this thing for Oneness as does His Son. We can only assume that the Holy Spirit isn't working to fulfill the denominational ambitions of men.

I think many people confuse having a bible and reading it (or reading into it)...to being a Christian. MY...the standard of being a Christian has fallen ...to the point where one does not want to be associated with they who make a mockery of the truth. But rather than surrendering the term...

That is the argument of the devil. But Jesus used the same bible to refute the temptations by the lies that were used FROM a misuse of the bible by the devil. CI...you are not using the bible correctly...but only to satisfy your own opinions. YOU are not God. You don't know or have the truth...

God no longer just consumes our offerings to Him (He is a consuming fire). He consumes US....purifies us...and gives us His life to walk in. That is sanctification.
