@Christ4Me Great passages there. I think the impetus for fellowship - as in Acts 2.42 - is about seeking the company of those who are likeminded, given the believer's fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ (as John also in his First Epistle says).

Interesting; some ppl would understand eagles to be like (predatory) vultures; but I've not studied the passage closely.

@Christ4Me You can see how it's done to profusion from age 18 onward in various preferred placements; sometimes ppl who know new tattooees might be initially surprised but often it's more about seeing their transitioning to growing up than anything else. Rita said about her family's experience:

McFearless is a Danish national living in his own country and whether one agrees with his perspectives or not, it's not inevitable that he would automatically take an American viewpoint.

Indeed, I would certainly not hold that baptizing someone causes the person to be born again. Acts 2.41 makes it clear that it was those who 'gladly received his word' who were baptized; i.e., they were believers already and showed that they were believers by being willing to be baptized.

More broadly also, good to distinguish between the idea in Scripture of becoming progressively unprofitable in service, and the standing of the true believer resting in the finished work of Christ.
