Actually we can only know God apart from sin. Sin separates us from God. Sin is against love. So we only know God as we allow His love to grow in us. Not sin.

All that is not on God's canvas is sin...it is taking something out of it's proper context. And the worst sins are the religious kind because they seek to take a piece of truth away from God in order to add it into another painting which does not represent Him.
