Strength and Honor: Triumphing over Feminism

Wrong. Wives submit to their husbands in two ways. Husbands submit to their wives in one way. Husbands submit to their wives out of love. Wives submit to their husbands out of love AND authority as to the Lord.

i am the only one who has had a painful childhood?

I don’t know, brother. Was hoping you might know. For me, I think of the adage of taking candy away from a baby. It means it is easy to do. However, from the baby’s perspective, there is pain due to having no capacity to cope. As you get older, far worse things happen but you are much more...

Strength and Honor: Triumphing over Feminism

No. You cannot because Christ is our Lord not our equal. Wives are supposed to submit to their husbands as to the authority of our Lord. Submit out of Love = applies to husbands and wives. Submit to Authority = applies only to wives.

@RLT63, can you field this one? I just love @Holy999's eloquent OP's. LOL

Strength and Honor: Triumphing over Feminism

One manifestation of the evil ideology of feminism is appealing to a women's susceptibility to covet, which is the Original Sin. This pathway uses the alluring phrases, "Don't Settle" and "You can have it all." Now as you read this joke, keep in mind the reason that jokes are funny is because...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

I wonder if I've earned this coveted category yet? The book of Super Kal 1:2 :doldrums:

If this is true, what is Matthew 7:21-23 all about?

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

This sort of thing happens a lot on this site for some reason. ME: I had a hamburg for dinner last night. YOU: What did you have for dinner last night? Agh! Irrelevant. That's my answer! You do love your Diversions. This thread is about whether LDS are Christian. They obviously are. In fact...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

Poor Mary. I am not accusing you of this. @Jane_Doe22 confessed this. I take her confession as sincere. However, the point was not about her confession but the PRIDE in ya'll denying her confession. You and others seem to hold yourselves as a greater authority of what @Jane_Doe22 believes than...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

No need for me to respond to it as it covered what I already addressed in post #475. Poor Mary. You often deny that I did respond, answer, address your point on the basis that I did so but not in a way you prefer. I don't think doing laps on a topic is edifying. Both me and @Jane_Doe22 said...

    GOD Is A Spirit

No. Jesus prayed often and did not pray to himself. He said he has a God, who WE (Jesus and us) relate to as Father, and knowing our Father and the one he sent (the Messiah) is eternal life. This is 2 people, not 1. John 17:3. That's good enough for me. Beyond that, I believe this topic is...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

Your question has an implied premise that is false. There is only one Jesus of Nazareth. He is what he is. A is A. Your understanding of him @Jane_Doe22's understanding of him, my understanding of him DOES NOT CHANGE who/what he is. As I wrote earlier, @Jane_Doe22 does not follow Jesus of East...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

I don’t get the PRIDE involved in contradicting how people identify themselves theologically. The horrific lack of humility seen in this thread is not Christ like. In fact, it is like the anti-Christ. You say you are Christian and not Protestant? That’s good enough for me. Did you read that...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

Projecting. I never said anything about 2 Corinthians 5:8. That’s worse than taking what I wrote out of context. That’s a Strawman. That you replace the Scripture I cite with another Scripture shows how weak your argument is. I almost didn’t notice your Ad Homenim. To invoke psychological...

    Like I said, denial.

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

I never said the soul is the body. Hence, the equation. You cannot have a soul without a body. When alive, the body contains the soul. This is why the use the terms interchangeably in practice. A ship sank and all souls were lost. Same as all bodies (or people) were lost. We don’t have a soul...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

Soul = Body (made in womb) + Spirit So much of what you write is untrue. To be absent from the body is to be what? Present with the LORD. Where is the LORD that we are present with when not in body? Heaven.

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

Sure it does say something like that. You just want to deny it. How could know us before we were formed in the womb if we did not exist before conception?

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

Great question! The premise of which, is flawed. Heaven is not perfect as sin started in heaven, where the devil still contaminates, there will be war and the need to do away with heaven and replace it with a new heaven. Job 1:6-12 The Voice 6 Now one day, it came time for the sons of God...

Does she have to provide verses to people who supposedly know the Bible? Once again, what you write is not true in implying there is not rock solid evidence for her position. Honestly, you are just be argumentative. How do you explain Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
