I learned a sure fire way to verify that I am dreaming. When a person is talking to you, look at them and ask them to repeat what they said. I find the "person" always fails that test. Upon close inspection, "they" are mumbling words that my brain interprets as consistent with the scene.

People do not realize how elusive it is to translate language where proper syntax is different. The main thing is not to base doctrine on an ambiguous text that contradicts explicit Scripture stated repeatedly.
