I do tend to see people as belonging to one of three categories of people as shown in 1 Corinthians 10.32: Jews, Gentiles and the church of God. It is the church that will be taken up at the Rapture, 1 Thess. 4.

@Christ4Me All the truly saved will indeed be saved by His grace; those who might have been regarded as former believers (outwardly) were never truly believers (inwardly) in the first place; the parable of the sower comes to mind about those who had not root in them.

@Ronald Nolette PS: Great you have a burden for them as well as being able to counter their ideas. Sometimes a mere, brief conversation can cause them to keep coming back to the door persistently.

@Ronald Nolette With Stryper the tattoos are all part of the Stryper look. (Stryper also would say some hard hitting things about Isaiah 53.) Although tattoos might not be part of what your older grandchildren are into either, they are what a lot of Christian young ppl use to express Bible...

@Ronald David Bruno When they can keep the discussion through their tunnel vision, so to speak, they will likely be patient and smooth. But once the Scripture is allowed to speak for itself, it's then that they can tolerate it, and may likely react very adversely.

@Ronald Nolette Some are indeed polite. Some can also be aggressive and rude. Doctrine around the Person and Work of Christ is indeed crucial.

I don't see a partial Rapture in Scripture, actually.

@Christ4Me Being ready and secure is about relying completely on the finish work of Christ by faith, thus being kept by Him for time and eternity.

PS: @Christ4Me I guess neck is relatively a more unusual placement; often arm or wrist area is more widespread for such tattoos (even finger, perhaps?)
