    Personal Revelation

Of course...I love the Davar (word) because it comes from God. But that doesn't give me life and grace. I get that from God in experience. There doesn't even have to be a bible present. But it lines up perfectly with what others experienced as it is written...and they had no bibles present...

    Personal Revelation

Directly from the living God. Dave, your religion is dead. It isn't be "ye reconciled to the bible. "
  3. Episkopos

    Personal Revelation

Paul said that we know the love of Christ...not the bible. Eph. 3:19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. This is speaking of real experience....not just bible reading.

    Personal Revelation

That's not true. It is the spoken word...the living word that causes faith. The rhema. What you should say is that without the written word there would be no misguided religious people who walk in their own power while thinking THAT is what faith is. The truth is by and in the Spirit. Not...

Believers stay righteous through their obedience

The law of God has not changed... but the ordinances have that show HOW we are to go about fulfilling the law of God. Do a study on the law of God in the NT. You will see that it has not been abolished or changed.

Believers stay righteous through their obedience

Not at all. Jesus came to tighten up the loopholes ie....outward obedience but without the inward reality. So then what has been abolished is pretense and religiosity.

Believers stay righteous through their obedience

That's not the purpose of the law. It is to show God's standard. But I agree with the rest of your post.

Believers stay righteous through their obedience

As a means to worship God. God hasn't changed. Neither has the law of God changed. God has increased His power to us and increased His expectations of us with that. The New Covenant makes God still harder to satisfy than before. That is because of grace. We have access to the MEANS to be...

    Hebrew has no Vowels?

The pronunciation is not important. What is important is the words and their meaning. Hence the reason that Hebrew has no vowels.

Believers stay righteous through their obedience

Nice try. The law of God is eternal. We are all subject to the law of God. What is obsolete is the MEANS by which we are to observe the law. No longer is circumcision physical...or the Sabbath outward. God is looking for people who worship in Spirit. But that doesn't mean the law is passed away.

Believers stay righteous through their obedience

The Covenant was changed not the law. God doesn't change. But people were too weak to obey holy laws.
  12. Episkopos

Believers stay righteous through their obedience

So you are saying that Jesus came to abolish the law of God?
  13. Episkopos

Believers stay righteous through their obedience

Don't mix up the law of God with the law of Moses. The 10 commandments are still valid...but we are to fulfill them in their depth...not just outwardly. Jesus said that we must love as He loves. If we do that then the 10 commandments will be fulfilled.

    Do you believe in aliens?

I've known a few illegal aliens.

    Hebrew has no Vowels?

    Actually I did a typo...it should say 1000 AD

    Hebrew has no Vowels?

Not so much. The Masoretes developed the Niqqud (vowel pointing) around 1000 AD (not BC) The strength of the Hebrew language is in the imagery of the letters...they tell a story within a word, (with pictographs) and with the truth they convey.

    The Inner Man

So then what is the mountain that must be moved by faith by the inner man? The natural man.

    The Inner Man

Amen brother. You are solid in my books...and I believe in the Lord's as well. :) Yes there is a distinction to be made between the New Man...which is Christ...and His anointing we put on as grace from the Lord. When we put on Christ we put on His strength. But the inner man is that weak part...

    American Rights

In my younger days I used to sing the carol that goes.. "Don we now our gay apparel" And I used to think that was just festive clothing. Little did I know.
