    No He Didn't!!!

Christianity is SOOOOO much easier in theory than practice! Welcome to the forum. Good thread!

    Prayer Request

OMG! That’s horrible! OMG! That’s horrible! I wonder how many reps one would consider excessive?

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

Oh? Then why this appeal to authority? When is universal agreement required other than on a jury? In addition @Aunty Jane did not even assert that Proverbs was personifying Jesus as wisdom. Seems like a Strawman to me.

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

Seems to me that all the "questions" for JW - after 86 pages - have been fully answered. :)

Cowardly: Churches Wanting To Be Known For What They Stand For?

That's a given. The question is why don't Christian leaders seem to want to advance Christian principles in society in a meaningful way, i.e., enter the field of political discourse. Seems to me religion is pretty useless if its just go to a building one hour a week and the rest of the time we...

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

I look forward to the analysis of this from those who aren’t JW. I love the CEV translation. But I’m not sure why you posted the chapter?

    Preaching is worship?

Like we need to breath air!

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

Best you stop asking questions if you mean them to be rhetorical. You asked. I answered. Done.

    Preaching is worship?

Great question! My church refers to singing as worship. IMO, all forms of sharing the Gospel is worship, especially prayer - public and private.

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

YHWH did a pretty good job manifesting his own name in delivering the 10 plagues to Egypt and freeing the Hebrews. Then there were all the prophets. Then there’s the billions of believers who witness as does the faithful witness. Rev 1:5. There is not one who. Thanks for asking.

    A self-evident falsehood.

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

God's name is YHWH - not "God." The silliness continues.

Cowardly: Churches Wanting To Be Known For What They Stand For?

I'm reading a book now called No More Christian Nice Guy. It says the same thing; that churches have jettisoned the masculine and good Jesus for a feminized and nice Jesus, lacking any power of transformation for fear it might hurt anyone's delicate sensibilities. At my church, influence is the...

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

All of us would. The pain is from the walls Marks puts up to the truth of Scripture. Therefore, the fight is not logical but psychological. This thread has deviated wildly from “questions” for JW. The clinging to Thomas’ exclamation is amazing.

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

Valid things ARE being said. You’re just in denial of it. You don’t have eyes to see or ears to hear. There it is again! That smug arrogance that others benefit from your inherent awesomeness while you are incapable of humbly benefitting from what us miscreants say so that YOU may take it to...

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

Talk about deflection. It’s not the topic, you offended me! Unbelievable. In logic, this is called Ad Homenim. No matter how ‘horrible’ our style and manners are, you can put on your big boy doctrinal pants on and discuss it, including honestly answering probing questions that reveal the...

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

Such is the nature of IDOLATRY. So very common in Christiandom, a hallmark is they cannot admit any weakness to their belief. An open mind on say, something political, can admit for Proposition A, there are legitimate arguments for and against and after careful consideration, they come down on...
