    Thank you!

    Thanks big sister! :)

    SALVATION

That is the standard that saints will be judged against. But a runner must run to the end of the race or else he is disqualified. Judgment will determine the KIND of race we ran...which has everything to do with what KIND of salvation we receive. The kingdom of God is analog not digital. There...

    Thank you!

Good words! (how do you do the little cross imogee ✟ thing?)

    Sound Doctrine

Col. 2:16 Therefore let no one judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a festival, a New Moon, or a Sabbath. A festival is a special sabbath...but a sabbath is the sabbath day...

Many are called but few are chosen

The bible calls them in the nations...the righteous, they that are saved, guests to the feast, Japheth....etc. And they who abide in the city...the saints, the Bride, Shem, etc...

Many are called but few are chosen

So then for clarity sake...what are these people called...based on other prophesies and parables? IOW...what is the framework? The biblical framework?

    Sound Doctrine

But it is a shadow...just as all the other sabbaths. Let's not split hairs here. The real sabbath is entered into by entering into Christ. To understand the nature of the sabbath one has to understand the nature of holiness. We are to keep the sabbath HOLY. In the NT, holiness is to put on...

Many are called but few are chosen

That's fine. I'm not posting specifically for you...but for the thread. Rejoin the thread when you feel inclined. :)

Many are called but few are chosen

Good analogy. A lot of people simply ignore the new verse....and only concentrate on what they can understand. But we are NOT to lean on our own understanding...or simply handle the doctrines we already think we understand. That's the beauty and challenge of hearing the whole counsel of God. :)...

Many are called but few are chosen

Agreed! Who is in the saved nations?

Many are called but few are chosen

There are 3 destinies among the saved....but only one is concerning the saints who rule with Christ Zech. 13:8 And it shall come to pass in all the land,” Says the Lord, “That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, But one-third shall be left in it: 9 I will bring the one-third through the...

Many are called but few are chosen

So then who is in the "saved" nations...and who in the holy city? The only people that describe the difference as a matter of doctrine are the Messianics...who are mistaken in relegating Gentiles to a permanent subservience to the Jews. These believe that THEY are the Bride who rule over the...

Many are called but few are chosen

The road keeps going...although it looks like a dead end. You have to have faith that the road continues....and then it does! :) It is a test of faith.

    Dispensationalism

The OP stated that Darbyism appeals with those (but not all) with a shallow understanding....meaning non-spiritual. Others have an axe to grind based on a human interpretation about what constitutes Israel. It can be understood that Zionists prefer the natural application...because of...

Many are called but few are chosen

And on that road are many habitations for sale...but not for money. ;)
  16. Episkopos

    The Bride

The Israel of God...which is according to the Spirit. THAT is the Bride of Christ. Only a small remnant of the church is the Bride...as in....not all are Christian who attend church. Just as a remnant of physical Israel was the bride...but now the same standard for holiness applies to...

    Dispensationalism

Amen! So you got it. :) Having an opinion about eschatology is not the same as being a disciple of Christ.
  18. Episkopos

Many are called but few are chosen

What you are espousing is a popular misconception. The world isn't full of many...but all. Look more carefully at what is laid out... You are staying to one standard...and mixing holiness with righteousness. Who are in the "saved" nations? Who are in the New Jerusalem?
  19. Episkopos

    Dispensationalism

Have you listened to the video in the OP? It is even more helpful than a dubious system that sounds good to human ears... ;)

    SALVATION

Actually, Paul was afraid of being rejected from the kingdom. Being cut-off, disqualified, from the race of Christ. There is no such thing as a salvation "status". We are all in a race. No one wins anything before crossing the finish line. We are all "in play" as it were. This is a further...
