Have you ever been disappointed in what you read in the Bible?

I understand these things are attributed to God......yet if we view God without the lens of Jesus (who is God defined) we will come up with the picture of God Satan wants us to have, ie a schizophrenic God who is unpredictable. Did Jesus ever fry the opposition?

Have you ever been disappointed in what you read in the Bible?

in our experience here and now we are all subject to it ie, the law of sin and death.....so you will need to explain how you see your statement/quote

Have you ever been disappointed in what you read in the Bible?

God destroys evil with kindness. Not the mamby pamby kindness which is a masquerade. Jesus said God send his rain on the just and the unjust. Why were animals affected by the Fall?

    Spotting Heretics

If we think in terms of penal substitution ie Jesus death was direct punishment from God for us. This view assumes death is an arbitrary punishment inflicted. If on the other hand we see the death of Jesus as the result of God allowing us to kill him because that was what was in us , we have...

As one dies so dies the other

and isn't it interesting that just as all in Adam so also are all in Christ; that's his point......and if you want to check on that, Romans 5 is unrelentingly explicit. In other words, just are death came to all men because of no choice of their own (in Adam) so life comes to all men through no...

    "The Teachings Of Christ...

"The Teachings Of Christ... In the few words Jesus said at his trial, the ones that resonate most through time are those of 'I have come to bear witness to the truth'.....should I bold and underscore 'the truth' just so we don't miss it? Many claim to represent 'the truth' .....even making...
