    Will unbelievers never be saved?

Perhaps but such esoteric parsing does not concern me. I’m primarily concerned with billions of good people - based on their deeds in following the law God wrote on their hearts - who do not believe in the son, persuant to Romans 2:6, 14-15 and 1 Tim 4:10.

    Will unbelievers never be saved?

No. You haven't answered my question and it cannot be answered by quoting Scripture because the question is how do you reconcile Scripture verses already on the table. Again, repeating yourself. I already pointed out how "the law" does not pertain to the group under question in this thread...

    Will unbelievers never be saved?

LOL. You don't think that is a contradiction? You are funny.

    Will unbelievers never be saved?

Now you are just repeating yourself, which shows a complete lack of understanding of how language is used. I demonstrated this via upstairs TV. "Better" is a relative term. The verse does not read existence is better than non-existence, salvation is better than annihilation. And what is being...

You should participate in conversation - not monologue. Joe, I look forward to your answer to the reconciliation question. Thanks.

    Will unbelievers never be saved?

A “better” salvation implies there is a salvation for those without faith. The TV upstairs is better implies there is a TV downstairs - not that down stairs has no TV. Of course that is what it is teaching! As @Episkopos said, the verse reads ‘especially’ not ‘exclusively.’ If the text read...

    Will unbelievers never be saved?

I appreciate your attempt at brevity. Now we are getting somewhere. You are so eager to reveal the pedant in you that you don’t even realize ‘The Law’ does not apply to unbelieving Gentiles. This threads topic is about a group you don’t seem to want to talk about or acknowledge exist. Why...

    Will unbelievers never be saved?

Growing up Catholic, many got this wrong. It’s not merely eternal life but having the Spirit of God dwell in us NOW, with the peace that transcends all understanding NOW. The thing about our inheritance, someone has to die to receive it - and that is us; we have to die daily to self, as Paul...

    Excellent reference!

    Will unbelievers never be saved?

I think this is correct. God delegated judgement to Jesus as you say. That is, it is Jesus we will stand before on Judgement Day. Every single one of us. Everyone saved or condemned is so at Jesus' determination. And in this way, we are saved through Jesus Christ. How do you reconcile...

Why didn't god give every soul as much time as it needed to become good? Why send so many to hell?

Are you familiar with logic and logical fallacies? Above you posit what is called circular reasoning, invent a standard designed to "fail" God. Have you read the Bible? Where does it say god is evil, even by his own standards? If that is nowhere, then an inquiring mind wants to know where did...

Why didn't god give every soul as much time as it needed to become good? Why send so many to hell?

Welcome to CyB. Hell is just a holding place for the dead. The possible destinations for our eternity is neither heaven nor hell. Heaven is a place for spirit beings, which is not us. Revelation is a new Earth and we in a new glorified body for the saved. The rest are annihilated in the Lake of...

    Will unbelievers never be saved?

Friend. I am a binary thinker. Simple yes or no answers will generally suffice. Your replies tend to be non responsive to my question. I asked a yes or no question about v 18. If you cannot answer it, that's OK. :D How do you reconcile John 3:16-18 with the verses from the OP?
  14. Wrangler

    Will unbelievers never be saved?

You don't take v18 to mean some will be saved? Oy vey!
  15. Wrangler

    Will unbelievers never be saved?

    Not too humble.

    Will unbelievers never be saved?

I'm sorry but that is not true. You answered a different question that you must have thought took >12 paragraphs. LOL

    Will unbelievers never be saved?

Joe, Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems you are invoking this verse to support universalism, AS IF God’s desire is no one shall perish means no one will perish. Is that right? Peter

    Will unbelievers never be saved?

How do you reconcile v17, that Jesus did not come to condemn the world with v18, some are already condemned for what they don’t believe?

    Will unbelievers never be saved?

Honestly, this is not the point of the thread - and I think you know that. I have a high post count because I tend to write short posts on point. I seldom read >12 paragraph posts.

The strange wording of Isaiah 43:10

Regarding ‘formed’ gods; YHWH is unique in the pantheon of gods in that he is eternal. To understand this verse, you need to correct the understanding of the word ‘god’ to align with the existence of many god who are prevalent in being formed. Too many imbue the word incorrectly to only mean...
