We are the Last Generation =the Fig Tree Generation

I said....country. Look at the maps at the back of your bible. Now go to the time of Jesus and look for a country called Israel. That was a spiritual call....not a national reformation. God doesn't have a UN. God isn't into human politics. He's trying to get us interested in heavenly politics.

    The Righteous

Of course. When Jesus says not to judge this is precisely what He means. We can't put people into tidy religious boxes and think we understand God.

    Outer Darkness

It is easy to get lost in the details. I did like your analogy to hearts of stone. I just didn't think it was exclusive. I try very hard to not limit God. It comes from my study of Hebrew, There are just so many different facets to the truth...I don't want to lose any. :)

    The Righteous

It is actually difficult for the righteous to see their need of God. They are already doing well. Sinners understand their need. Sinners are closer to their need. But some righteous do turn to God. Cornelius, the centurion, is a good example. And of course many sinners do not turn to God...

    The Righteous

He was righteous....but he allowed his weakness to rule over God's strength. He didn't need God enough.

    Eternal Security

The kingdom of God does not come with observation. Jesus said it was in our midst. The spiritual world of Zion is here...in the Spirit. One day this kingdom will become the reality for everyone. But at this time we are to seek for it. That doesn't mean we are to seek for death. So you're overly...

    Outer Darkness

I think you're going too far with all this. You reacted to something I said about glory... The stones analogy has been exhausted unless you think the stones crying out has something to do with Mick Jagger.
  8. Episkopos

    Outer Darkness

If all of creation will be filled with God's glory...the stones are included in the all. And you are speculating that Jesus meant hearts. Did the devil tempt Jesus with eating hearts?

Can a Christian be a Democrat?

Or at least...they who claim to be born again. Actually that just usually means a Republican. Nothing eternal there.
  10. Episkopos

    Eternal Security

So there is hope for you. But then there is...always learning but NEVER coming to the knowledge of the truth. That is to look at legalistic notions ABOUT God but never knowing Jesus.

    Jesus and Commands

Imagine a Sabbatist on a desert island with no calendar. Now, where can he place his rest? Can he justify himself by resting on any given day? NO...he needs a sabbath fix. So the whole point is about justifying oneself. As in....look how observant I am! But God is not legalistic and doesn't...

Hey...you are still learning and growing. That is a good thing. :) Peace and grace to you.

    Outer Darkness

I have entire bibles. Contained in any one of those bibles is this verse... But Jesus answered, "I tell you, if these become silent, the stones will cry out!" I ask you...which is harder...for a stone to cry out? (Seeing they have no mouths) Or...as I said....even the rocks will experience...

    John 9:35-41

Mortal means you can die. Mortal comes from mort...death. Immortal means you can't die. Eternal means perpetual...outside of time. Timeless. We can experience the eternal in this life....and still be mortal. Is there not a sin that leads to death? (mortal)

    Outer Darkness

I answered this already. It is about the knowledge of His glory. His knowledge will fill all things. Even the rocks will experience His glory.

    Outer Darkness

Amen. So we ought to fear and humble ourselves lest we also be cut off as the original branches. But not many will listen. They who ignore history and doomed to make the same mistakes.

    The Problem With The Trinity

The NT was written in Greek. Those who wrote it used the Greek forms of the names. So are you going to throw out the whole NT because of that? Silliness. But then your whole platform is based on things like this.
  19. Episkopos

    The Righteous

If a man admits that he sins...then he is not a liar. But if a man is in Christ who does not sin...and another says he sins....then the other is a liar. Not according to Jesus. But to you... Why don't you listen to Jesus? Or the rest of the testimony of the bible? Why do you hold an opinion...

    The Problem With The Trinity

....not... The coming of Jesus was prophesied many years before His coming. He is "God with us". Just because some translator got it wrong in an English translation.....doesn't mean that all mankind remains in error. Now if a person wants to continue in error..then that is their choice. A...
