    Has anyone changed their mind...?

Define what "baptism into Jesus" means to YOU and I will tell you.

    Has anyone changed their mind...?

Scripture teaches ONE BAPTISM....when one is baptized they are immersed (preferred method) in water just like scripture says.

    Roman Catholicism

Got it....You can't answer. :( Know why you can't answer. Because there is no clarity in what you believe or the Protestant belief system. However, there is clarity in the Catholic belief system. Thank you.....Mary

    Roman Catholicism

The topic is bringing some clarity to Roman Catholicism. Catholicism is certain and definite. You can find it articulated in the Catechism. Where can I find clarity in Protestantism? Curious Mary

Please Settle This Debate Between Phoneman777 And Bread of Life

I see that you are re-affirming that you know who has deviated from the truth of the bible. Since YOU know that "almost every Christian denomination" has done this which one has not done it? You know the Truth soooo please reveal it to us. Patient Mary

Please Settle This Debate Between Phoneman777 And Bread of Life

Soooooo a man by the name of Ignatius Loyola wrote something in a book and that makes it Catholic Doctrine???? Curious Mary

Please Settle This Debate Between Phoneman777 And Bread of Life

Hi Enoch, Since you know the Catholic Church has false teachings it only stands to reason YOU know what a false teaching is and what is not a false teaching. Sooooo which Church does not teach false things? Curious Mary

    Roman Catholicism

Clarity or ANOTHER anti-Catholic discussion? :( Clarity is describe as being certain or definite. The Reformation (Protestantism) brought LACK of clarity that is why all the Protestant churches disagree with each other on "Core Issues". ;) Mary

“Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.”

    Has anyone changed their mind...?

I guess your not taking my deal: You answer my ONE question and I will answer TWO of yours??? How about if you tell me your prejudice on the issue and maybe, just maybe your case/evidence will be so strong that I can't deny it and I will agree with you? Patient Mary

    Has anyone changed their mind...?

Thank you taken. Matt 3:6 says that they confessed their sins and were baptized. It was NOT a baptism for the remission of sins as you believe. Who taught you this? Matt 3:11 says I baptize you with water for repentance.....He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. Johns baptism was...

    Has anyone changed their mind...?

Hi Taken. I need to clarify something. You asked what is the requirement to become a member of a Catholic Church. I did not answer that question completely/correctly. If the person wishes to become Catholic and they have never received the Trinitarian baptism then they are baptized. If they...

    Has anyone changed their mind...?

Nope....not a member of "that Church". Belief in Jesus first and then baptized into THE CHURCH. You know THE CHURCH...The one that Jesus started....upon this rock I will build MY CHURCH....not that church or the other church down the block or across the ocean. HIS CHURCH....ONE CHURCH. His one...

    Has anyone changed their mind...?

I agree.... baptizó: to dip, sink Original Word: βαπτίζω Part of Speech: Verb Transliteration: baptizó Phonetic Spelling: (bap-tid'-zo) Definition: to dip, sink Usage: lit: I dip, submerge, but specifically of ceremonial dipping; I baptize.

    Has anyone changed their mind...?

This discussion is about water baptism. If you want to throw any other baptism into this conversation I'm not taking the bait or I'm not following that rabbit trail as they say. Stay focused Taken...Baptism by Water is the discussion. Baptism is a Sacrament of the Catholic Church. To become a...

    Has anyone changed their mind...?

Yes, I own two AND every Sunday we read from three different books of Scripture AND Psalms. Why do I need to ask God to show me the truth when it is clear you already know it? There are people on this forum that have the same mentality as you; just pick up and read it and ask God to show you...

    Here we go - Slavery

Your welcome. The verse you quoted says "When a man strikes his slave,...." It doesn't say that a man CAN strike his slave or "beat them" as you put it. The rule says if the slave owner goes to far and kills the slave then the slave owner is to be punished so there is punishment for the death...

    Has anyone changed their mind...?

Thank you for your thoughts.....I was planning to move on and "just accept you for what you believe and hope the best for you" however you said some things that concern me. I find it interesting that you quoted and underlined the "baptize" section of that verse. Earlier you said you don't even...

    Has anyone changed their mind...?

Your (a man) bible truth VS the CC (men) bible truth??? I choose the men of the CC. What makes your truth better or more believable than theirs? Wycliffe had men that agreed with SOME of the things he taught and they disagreed with SOME of the other things that he taught. Sooooo was Wycliffe...

    Has anyone changed their mind...?

Thank you BG..... It is not a matter of what I choose to believe. That is one of the problems of Christianity today. Everyone chooses what they want to believe which means Jesus prayer in John 17:21 will never be fulfilled and we will never be one (Romans 15) and we will all have different...
