Upon THIS Rock I will build my Church

Revelation is a good answer...but restored relationship is an excellent answer! :)

Godliness with Contentment is Great Gain.

There is a time when we consider is the right time...and there is God's time .Like a drowning man...we tend to try pulling people into our problems...but just before we go under we stop kicking and panicking and we let go, resigned to our end....and THEN God intervenes.

Event's That I was Unaware Of, Until Last Night

"zipzaddle, post: 431845, member: 7923"]God wants to remind you that He sees you as complete in Christ… perfect! So God only "sees us" as a new creation? God sees us just as we really are. The only people that can be fooled as to our true condition...is ourselves. Not only has He decided to...

Godliness with Contentment is Great Gain.

Psalm 22:1 does say forsaken. But Jesus says "entangled". :) Jesus got entangled in the affairs of men....and paid the ultimate price for it. But His resurrection "untangled" things so that we can now walk a straight path!

Be Rapture Ready Or Be Left Behind!! Your Choice!!

"Taken, post: 431809, member: 7756"]A mystery of Gods Works; It is The Fullness "OF" God... His Spirit that Fills "our Quickened" spirit. Our Body's Are DEAD, (crucified). We live IN Christ's glorified body. Not really. We will only put on a glorified body after this body dies or is put off...

Be Rapture Ready Or Be Left Behind!! Your Choice!!

Have you experienced His resurrection power? We have a new nature and when we enter into Christ there is a new law...the law of the Spirit of life IN Christ. There is power in His life and blood. Resurrection power that can animate these mortal bodies to be fully pleasing to God...without spot...

Be Rapture Ready Or Be Left Behind!! Your Choice!!

2 Cor. 4: 10 "always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies."

    The Current State of Christianity

Our calling in Christ is to walk in the same life that Jesus did...not do specific things that can be done by human strength. Christianity is not supposed to be a religion....but an anti-religion that exposes the flesh. We are to live by another power, another life...that of the Spirit. That is...

Be Rapture Ready Or Be Left Behind!! Your Choice!!

Yet we can be filled with all His fulness that we can contain in these bodies. Eph. 3:19 "and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."

    The Current State of Christianity

I saw this advert for a church that supposedly is modeled on Acts 2. Really? And what do they do that resembles the major revival that kickstarted the faith on Earth? They hold to the doctrine of tongues. That's it. And doing this compares with the power exhibited in Acts? Really. The...

    The Current State of Christianity

This is true. But there is a real barrier to coming together in the unity of the Spirit nonetheless. I met a brother yesterday and we spent a full 9 hours fellowshipping in the Lord. A great brother. He told me of a brother that he knows that he lives next door to..they have been the closest of...

“I will shew thee my faith by my works.“

The word for "faith" in both Hebrew and Greek also means "faithfulness." So then on the human level we show our faithfulness by our works. We show the quality of our obedience to God so that God is glorified in this. People will know us by our love. But there is another level of faith. And at...

Walking In the Fear of God

Good post! I see the problem with the church of today is a lack of understanding of scale. Just how BIG is our God? All this talk of a "personal" saviour and such has made God into a sort of genie that makes our lives better (blessings)...AND gives us a happy ending (salvation for what we think...

    The Current State of Christianity

There will come a time where "official" Christianity will be proven to be false...and "unofficial" or spontaneous Christianity will be proven as true. Given any amount of time, people will get things wrong. But the initial spark is right...and from the Lord. What He starts, however, gets easily...

Hashem (the Lord) sends Hasham (the Lord) into the world.

Here is a NT reference to an OT statement about the divinity of Jesus. Heb. 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. The writer of Hebrews says that God calls Jesus God. Let's look at that OT reference...

Hashem (the Lord) sends Hasham (the Lord) into the world.

And another... Zech 10:12 And I will strengthen them in the Lord; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the Lord. The blue is God the father and the red is God the Son. In both cases the word Lord is translated from the Hebrew word... יהוה

Hashem (the Lord) sends Hasham (the Lord) into the world.

Here is another.. Mal. 3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts. Read this carefully...

Hashem (the Lord) sends Hasham (the Lord) into the world.

This statement in Zech. 2: 8 ...after the glory... (from the above post...also in green) refers to Jesus' statement in John 17:5 "And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began." So then after the glory...the Lord (the Father) sends the Lord...

Hashem (the Lord) sends Hasham (the Lord) into the world.

Zech. 2:8 For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after the glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. 9 For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the Lord of...
