Medical marijuana...it's becoming accepted by old and young?

@Heart2Soul Sometimes it also relates to whether the person also would smoke ordinary cigarettes as opposed to those who never smoked anything at all, I guess.

Medical marijuana...it's becoming accepted by old and young?

@Heart2Soul What leaves me baffled is earnest evangelicals moralizing against people in pain using marijuana which has been on the road to being legalized for a long while, at the same time as huge pharmaceutical corporations being happy to let evangelicals do their vested interest in moralizing...

    Ephesians 6:10-18

@VictoryinJesus Reminds me also of Romans 14.17: "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost."

Medical marijuana...it's becoming accepted by old and young?

@Heart2Soul So have you found this thread helpful so far? :) I saw a video of the Vancouver Pain Society's first vending machine client, a young lady, using a vending machine for cannabis for the first time.

    Doctrines of Demons???

@GodsBeloved11 If ppl want to give a tenth or more than a tenth, more power to them, but strictly the tithe was linked to the Levites in the OT, of course.

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

@GodsBeloved11 Yes, girls have second holes done when they are growing up. Mind you, so many mature women have them now also, and have done for decades. (It's hard for a parent to say a son shouldn't have any ear piercings when mom and grandmother will often have had 2 sets of piercings for...

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

@GodsBeloved11 If you have or wish for a nose ring, why not just go for it and not worry what ppl think. (The Lord Himself gave Zion a nose ring in Ezekiel 16.12, at least, figuratively speaking.)

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

@GodsBeloved11 In fact, for women, 2 in each earlobe are almost standard now, right? Over here, in any case; maybe with you guys in the UK also. I think that in the late 70s/early 80s when teen girls - and their moms - started widely having 2 put in each side, when there was a teen girl's...

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

@GodsBeloved11 Not sure about @Pearl's song reference, but there is this one: "My Master, lead me to Thy door; Pierce this now willing ear once more; Thy bonds are freedom; let me stay With Thee, to toil, endure, obey." (There is the bondservant imagery there, of course...)

Hungering And Thirsting After Righteousness... Are We Doing It???

@marks In a sense, hungering and thirsting after righteousness is all part of seeing the need by faith to be justified by the work of Christ, right?

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Ziggy Yes, well you would remember what a close experience it is, and while you as a tattooed woman said you were pleased with the result, it really is the definition of something 'close and personal', right? That being said, even though tattoo artists are 'close and personal', they do wear...

Thanks to all who voted so far in the poll. NB: If you have not yet voted in the poll, please vote now...

    Ephesians 6:10-18

@Heart2Soul Verse fits well with the whole armour of God in Ephesians 6, indeed...

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

@Mantis So when you were a tattoo artist, did you use to do piercings (ears, etc.) as well, maybe?
