Was Jesus sent to rule as the Messiah or was he sent to die for the sins of humanity?

again, I am not sure what this has to do with prophecy He said jesus would be born of a virgin, he was He said he would be called a nazarine, He was He said he would be crucified, he was. We are also told in the chapter we are discussing that these things will happen. 4 And they shall...

yes he will. and he chooses by the will of the father John 6: 35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father...

    OSAS being False Doctrine!

It says they CAN'T Go back to sin. what part of can;t do you not understand? there will never be a "When" So you have not really been washed.. And God is not powerful enough to keep you from returning to sin. No. I got it from the word,. From the mouth of Jesus himself.. Your hatred of...

    OSAS being False Doctrine!

Nice try.. John said a lot. He said those born of God can not live in sin, whoever lives in sin has never seen or known God, John `5 needs to be interpreted correctly. It is about producing fruit. Not about being saved You mean stop being like you? So what did Jesus do on the cross? anyone...

    OSAS being False Doctrine!

Who said these people were saved? Does the fact someone claims to be a christian mean they are saved? I did nto say they cant. GOD DID through the apostle John. You can’t call John a liar then proclaim you speak for God. And you also can not contradict yourself. You can;t be good enough to...

Was Jesus sent to rule as the Messiah or was he sent to die for the sins of humanity?

If they did this to me, what do you think they will do to you is not a prophecy. The prophet did not say Jesus will tell his people if they did this to me, what do you think they will do to you The prophet said he will die for the sins of the people. And told us how he would die.

Was Jesus sent to rule as the Messiah or was he sent to die for the sins of humanity?

But it happened literally not spiritually (a symbol) matt 1 and Luke 2 show this. It was not a symbol. It was a literal event..

Was Jesus sent to rule as the Messiah or was he sent to die for the sins of humanity?

there is a reason for this. Paul called it the hidden mystery. If you look. The messiah and the suffering servant were two different people as prophesied. because they have different characteristics.. because they rejected him as messiah.. They looked for king messiah who would free them from...

Was Jesus sent to rule as the Messiah or was he sent to die for the sins of humanity?

As I see it. When the prophecy of the virgin birth was given. what did people think it meant before it actually happened? I always wondered this..

true, But you can become dull to it. if you keep ignoring it.. You will just be chastened and maybe not know why

    OSAS being False Doctrine!

More like you will stop ignoring your sin and keep doing it. and you will eventually either have to start hiding it because you are not healed of it. or you start to ignore the fact it is even sin

Was Jesus sent to rule as the Messiah or was he sent to die for the sins of humanity?

so for this to be true. We must take prophecy literally. otherwise we can make prophecy say whatever we want (as many so called churches have) and have no means to determine what is true and what is not, would you not agree
  17. Eternally Grateful

Was Jesus sent to rule as the Messiah or was he sent to die for the sins of humanity?

testimony. is this not what prophecy is? God said this will happen. when it does happen. it is a testimony of God (jesus)?

if you did not do this. what do you think would be the end result?
  19. Eternally Grateful

    OSAS being False Doctrine!

the reason we confess our sins is we acknowledge them.. If we do not acknowledge them, we are basically hiding them, or trying to run from our sin, and we will have trouble stopping that sin or those sins.. We do not beg forgiveness. Jesus already forgave them. We acknowledge the sin to God...

decides to not stop sinning? Who decides this? I would love to meet these people. I have never met one with your I do not tell them that, God tells them that. When he said he would never leave nor forsake them. When he said they will never die. When he said they are sealed with the spirit.. etc...
