@jessiblue Thanks for the comment! Not 'needing' to do it is absolutely right, of course; there is no strict need at all. A lot of Christians do, mind you; and all the young ppl with whom I have talked who have Bible verses tattooed seem to have done it for evangelistic purposes, anyway.

Since Fundamentalism has become a culture as well as indeed being about the Bible, sometimes making things sound good can alter the way is actually presented as well as being about what it actually says....
