Were the brothers in Matthew 13:55 Mary's sons?

fun fact the roman church burnt all books or items that did not line up with their doctrine. they also executed anyone who they deemed as heretics, saying Mary had sex was heresy. so you would not expect to find any belief otherwise. it would heave been destroyed by the church. once again...

Were the brothers in Matthew 13:55 Mary's sons?

Again, The jews believed this also. was the God of Israel the one true God.. Not the one they worshiped. remember the crucified him lol.. when else would he have left his abode in heaven and entered the body of the child? If he could do it for mary, Why could he not just do it for Christ...

    Question for non-JW's

I answered that question Just take the word at face value.. he chose them to be conformed to his image. he chose them because he knew who they were he chose them because he saw and believed. As was his will

Were the brothers in Matthew 13:55 Mary's sons?

It will not help your case though.. I could say i would give my life also.. it does not mean I am right..
  5. Eternally Grateful

Were the brothers in Matthew 13:55 Mary's sons?

You did no such thing.. all you did was show it could be that way
  6. Eternally Grateful

Were the brothers in Matthew 13:55 Mary's sons?

once again Mary did not Carry God. She carried a flesh body that God would enter to become God man. Jesus did not enter the child until he was already born. If Mary needed to be perfect. by practice mary's mother would have to be perfect as would her mother and her mother and her mother etc etc..
  7. Eternally Grateful

Were the brothers in Matthew 13:55 Mary's sons?

The same one the jews worshiped. These same jews who crucified Christ becaus Christ told them their religion could not save them?

A Disciplined Probabilistic Approach to Biblical Hermeneutics

I believe one aspect if biblical understanding is to interpret the word in a way it agrees. a good example in romans 4 vs james 2.. appearantly contradictory.. so interpret so they both aagree

Were the brothers in Matthew 13:55 Mary's sons?

Not very convincing. You never did answer me about mary, and her mother having to be perfect to bore a perfect mary..
  12. Eternally Grateful

Were the brothers in Matthew 13:55 Mary's sons?

So all you have done is prove they may be his brothers, they may not be. so there is no proof at all
  13. Eternally Grateful

Were the brothers in Matthew 13:55 Mary's sons?

truth? what truth? the roman truth? or biblical truth?
  14. Eternally Grateful

Were the brothers in Matthew 13:55 Mary's sons?

but it is meaningless. Unless you could actually die, it is just words. again, an illogical argument..
  15. Eternally Grateful

Were the brothers in Matthew 13:55 Mary's sons?

just because they are never called the children of Joseph and or Mary does not mean they were not. this is a weak argument. they were never called Jesus cousins. they were called his brothers.. in fact. they were even recognized as his brothers. so the cousin, kinsmen argument is weak also...

    Forgiveness vs Atonement

the problem with the legalist is they try to make justification and sanctification equal. and dependent on one another. it is not true. he has perfected FOREVER those who are being sanctified..
  17. Eternally Grateful
