Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

Back: Angelina said: ↑ If a believer hesitates to get tattooed at all or get more ink, then this is really fine for him or her. Sometimes a believer is in a particular situation, which might not match that of another believer. For example, in a different situation from that of Angelina, if a...

    Obedience

Hi Sir; good to see you; Paul to the Romans at the beginning and at the end of the Epistle speaks of 'obedience to the faith' and 'the obedience of faith'. He also writes movingly of the Lord Jesus' 'obedience unto death, even the death of the Cross' (Philippians 2).

    lost a friend

@Rita I also think that when we bring our minds and hearts to bear on chapters such as Isaiah 53 and consider what the Lord Jesus suffered at the Cross, our own often very real and deep anguish is yet put into perspective. Hebrews 12.2: '...looking unto Jesus...'

To The Praise Of His Glory!

@soul man We have been studying Melchizedek lately; Hebrews 7 shows wonderfully that the continuous intercession for us of our Great High Priest Who is passed into the heavens is after the order of Melchizedek ... "for ever" ... rather than being dependent on a line of frail men.
