    Soul Sleep yes or no?

The question - Is it your position that Christ will one day die (in the future) - comes from recognizing 2 facts you are in denial of. Immortal and everlasting life are synonyms. See your favorite lexicon. Scripture teaches that if elected by God one becomes (in the future) immortal...

    Soul Sleep yes or no?

Hmmm. I'm asking what you position is and your replying that it is not your position. :contemplate: We seem to be having a tense obstacle to communication and I don't know why. "Will one day" is referring to the future. 'Was before' refers to the past. It is inaccurate to say Joe Biden was...

It's right to want your kids to be strong, theologically (suggestions?)

Strength comes through testing and pushing limits.

Only in the intellectual sense. A farmer must still till the soil and plant the seeds even when he has learned all that can be about the work to be done. Said differently, the practical work of the Great Commission does not stagnate due to one flat lining on the curve of intellectual...

IMO, this deserves its own thread. Your question involves a bit of historicity. I'm reading a book right now The Admirals by Walter R. Borneman. The navy played war games for 20 years anticipating an attack by Japan. In the days before Pearl Harbor, there was an order to all units in the...

    Soul Sleep yes or no?

I already explained how this is not true coming right out of the gate in Genesis. Is it your position that Christ will one day die? That we, once resurrected as Christ was resurrected, will experience a "Second Death" that is not at the Day of Judgment?

Nutritonist Doctor Hilda Eatzeworm is an advisor to the World Economic Forum's "Feed The World" program. Watch what she does in this vid.

The sad thing is many people think the consequences are unintended; naïvely, believe the propaganda that the government is well-meaning, but shortsighted. The truth is far more malevolent. Even when presented undeniable proof many people just can’t bring them selves to believe it is this bad...

The Coming Global Mandates of Evildoers - Ready for the Harvest?!

I'm not worried. I'm sure those who represent me and who are in a position of power will only act in my best ... oh, nevermind.

This is one of my favorite trinitarian rationalizations. When my buttered bread falls to the floor, I am not actually claiming it is feces.

    Soul Sleep yes or no?

So then, we must differentiate between the mortal and immortal soul. I don't agree with your premise. The immortal soul concept is there in Genesis, the very reason we were not to eat the forbidden fruit. Anyway, I'm a proponent of soul sleep but do admit there are verses to support both sides.

    Hi everybody. . .

Welcome to the forums. No one likes endless debates. Not even me, Wrangler. LOL. Debates have their place per "iron sharpens iron" but there is the theory and there is the practice. At work recently, there has been a raging debate over a process innovation called "bump." It's interesting to...

Aunty Jane, This is a very well thought out post, as so many of your posts are. And I want to thank you for that. I know you take the time to be through in your answers. There is something about it that I don't agree with. Because I've been traveling, I doubt I'll be able to get to it until...

Creation is subordinate to doing something contradictory. The question stems from taking out of context, ‘with God, all things are possible.’ God would not act to contradict his own nature. We should not be tempted to assert the indefensible, including the notion that anything, including God...

Indeed. She also mentioned telling someone they can get them something for Mother's Day. My wife did that this weekend. Being my wife, she is not my mother. Being my 2nd wife, she is not the mother of my child. Yet, I take joy in using the occassion to celebrate her being a mother. This line of...

No one. You objected to birthday's on the grounds that they were selfish and promoted a lack of humility. Now, you are pivoting from Weddings not also being selfish and promoting a lack of humility to being non-Pagan. This tells me the whole criticism of birthday's based on making you cringe...
